chapter 01

"Nat! Why are you so mad?!" Shawn yelled over the phone. A tears streamed down my cheek. I hung up on him and threw the phone.
I put my face in my hands and sobbed.
I heard my phone buzzing on the other side of the room. I walked to it. it was shawn again. I declined the call and walked away from it. I whipped my eyes and walked downstairs.
"Hey hun!" my mom said as she was washing the dishes. "Look at the tv! shawn should be on at any minute!" She said smiling. I looked in my living room. Shawn's family was sitting in there.
"Alright I know what everyone's been waiting for! This is shawn mendes everyone!" The lady announced. Shawn's mom started tearing up.
He was playing his guitar and spoke into the mic. "This song is new. It's about a girl back home. it's called never be alone." He said and strummed.

he sand the song and I chocked up a bit. Tears went down my face. when he finished up everyone in the audience was going crazy. It was probably filled with teenage girls.

I went up to my room and looked at my phone. a missed call from shawn popped up. he tried calling again, and again, and again. I answered the last call but didn't say anything.
"Nat." he said
"...." I said nothing back.
"nat I don't know what I did!"
"you broke your promise."
