Some would say Minho was upset, his mood dampened, his spirits on a steep decline even— the point is he wasn't exactly content with where he's at in life. His dreams of getting married by now and adopting more cats was well... no longer possible— an exaggeration but this is Lee Minho, get use to it— The amount of time his job needed left very little time for Minho to actually fall in love and do what he wanted, he didn't have the time for dates or to meet anyone outside of work but he loved his job to much to just give up on it or even dare say actually leave on time. If anything he was closer to working over time then he was at having a social life.

A/N: low key predicted my future : )

Of course dating apps was a great resolution some may suggest — but Minho had his fair share of scammers and one night stands to know they didn't work for him like they did for others. Being stood up on dates, or the fact half of them ended up asking for money was a major warning sign for him to reevaluate his attack at dating life.

However... that was just his little excuse, the real reason he was lonely and single was his embarrassingly "dead" flirting ability and cold exterior. He couldn't help the fact he looked mean and had a bit of a temper or how communication felt difficult when it didn't revolve around numbers and statistics. How do people have "small talk" anyway?

Since high school people had found him awfully intimidating and out right unapproachable, despite his best efforts to date someone (anyone) he was seen as a love repellent and most of his partners were more of another bed to sleep and something to de-stress then an actual relationship.

How were people going to be able to see his soft side if he looked like he didn't have one?

"The interns will be arriving soon, since we promised three open positions at the end of their internship we should start looking at the best applicants for now" his assisting manager tells him once more as he places down five folders onto his bosses desk lightly. The sound of them softly smacking the wood, drawing the older out of his miserable self deprecating thoughts and excuses.

Spiralling is for Saturday Minho, get it together!

"I'm so alone" Minho disregards the youngers words and his own, openly frowning at his close friend who simply rolled his eyes as he  takes a seat in front of him. Despite the innocent look the younger maintained, he was truly evil in many ways. If anyone didn't have a heart, it was the so called flower boy of the office.

Okay—... Minho was exaggerating, an issue he "apparently" had but Seungmin was truly not very empathetic to his bosses love life or anything that Minho complained about. Even if the younger seemed fairly content with his life, he should at least act sad for his boss, his coworker, his dearest friend.. his mortal enemy—

"I'm aware already" he muttered taking a red candy out of the olders jar and into his mouth. His words only earning a glare from his older friend, piercing his soul. "I mean... If you smiled more maybe that would make you a tad bit approachable" he suggested carelessly, shrugging his shoulders as he sucked on the sweet in his mouth. Seungmin didn't see this as his problem, and quite frankly it wasn't described as his responsibility in his contract so this wasn't what he was getting paid to do.

"You're of no help, go away" he tells him shoeing him away, no longer interested in his thoughts. Seungmin doesn't resist his friends command and leaves quite happily. "I hate dealing with interns" Minho mutters to himself annoyed as he starts opening the first file.

Rich girl, Minho knew her father so he wasn't to happy he would be dealing with her. Most privileged kids that come from money get jobs easily, experience wasn't exactly something they lacked because their parents would get them into any door with any means. Minho was no exception so he had to either treat her like a queen while she was here or give her the job. Growing up pretty wealthy himself, Minho had quite the experience with how things ran with them, and that meant he knew things were either going to go smoothly or he was going to loose ten years of his life.
