The baby

Eric's POV

After nine long months I finally get to meet my little child.

As I hold my wife, Lilly's hand, I realise the life I have now is perfectly complete.

When I was younger, I was a terrible person, I bullied people a lot, but that was due to my childhood...

Even through 'the struggle' as I call it, I held onto my dream, the dream of having a perfect life, happy with a wife, and child(ren) in a beautiful house. Now I finally have it!

In the hospital room, I look up towards the ceiling and thank my lucky stars that even though I was a terrible person (in my past), I got the perfect future!

The doors open and the doctors enter. In their arms is a beautiful little girl with a small patch of hair on her head and my brown eyes.

A giant smile spreads across my face as I look at Rosie.

Rosie.

The last puzzle piece of my perfect life!

Lilly looks at our child lovingly as tears run down her face, we both got what we wanted, after so long waiting.

Together we wrap Rosie up in her baby grow. It's nice thinking I have a little girl to spoil, to protect when she's older and starts dating... I look down at her and I can't picture her falling in love, or getting her little heart broken, she's too perfect! I just wish she could stay that small forever!

Standing up and stretching out my hand to Lilly smiling as I ask:

"Ready to go home?"

"Home... It really is home now we have our little girl" Lilly replies, her smile as wide as mine.

And I hope I can express all the emotion I need for this story! Sorry it's short and everything, hopefully it'll get longer. Well, when it gets more interesting:P
