Michael's pov.
Laying on my bed, I turn and look at my painting of baby me, dad, and papa. My 7th birthday was yesterday and only my papa was there to celebrate, dad was really busy with grandpa Phil and uncle Techno. He did have a gift for me in the morning before he left, so that kinda made up for not being here. "TUBBOOOOO!" I sit up really fast. Who is that? And what do they want with papa? Quietly getting up I run to my trapdoor and listen- "Can I see Michael Tub?" Someone says.
"I mean sure, he might be sleeping though." Papa says. I hear steps getting louder as the person approaches my trapdoor, so I run to the window and look out to the snow. I hear a knock at my little door, "C-come in." I'm nervous but they know my papa, so I should be ok. They open the trapdoor and climb up the ladder. Who- "Uncle Tommy!" I shout and run up to him. I do my signature headbutt and then hug him. "Hey Michael, you big man! I hear it was your birthday yesterday, so I came over today to celebrate!"
I'm smiling like crazy, uncle Tommy is the best and I haven't seen him in a long while, so I miss him a lot."Hey, uncle Tommy?" I ask, he hums to tell me he is listening. "Why are you and Dad so busy all the time." I run over to my chair and jump up onto it frowning. He looks at me with sadness in his eyes but that's always in uncle Tommy's eyes. "Michael... It's really hard to explain, your dad is trying to have people ready to protect you, me, and papa from an evil person. He just wants us safe." He tells me in a serious tone. "Hey Tom, I'm going to go see Ranboo alright? Can you watch Michael for me?" Papa yells up at us. "ya sure Tub! See you soon!" Uncle Tommy yells back. "Bye-bye, Papa. I love you and say Hello to Dad for me!" I say my goodbye and hear the door close. "So uncle Tommy, what should we do?" I ask.
Tubbo's pov.
I trust Tommy with Michael and I know that he will take care of him. I had to go find Ranboo, Michael misses him and needs him, yet why do I have a horrible feeling in my stomach?
No! They will be fine, everything will be perfectly fine! Just keep walking. Stop overthinking Tubbo. I'm almost to Techno, Phil, and Ranboo's place. The temperature was colder than Snowchester somehow and in my opinion, this world is super weird. To get there I have to squeeze through the fencing to enter, I quickly scamper to his house then pressed the button to open the door, and ran inside. I rub my arms to warm myself up faster and I yell out, "R-ranboo are y-you here." I stay at the front door. "Tubbo!?" Ranboo yells while running down the stairs and hugs me. "What are you doing here!? You know Techno and Phil don't like you over here! You could have gotten hurt!" He says concerned as he lets go of the hug and looks at me but I look down.
"I know, it's just- please come home to Michael. He misses you a lot, so take a break from the meetings and come play with him for a while it would make him happier. Please?" I heard Michael this morning while talking with Tommy and I think us three just need to spend time together. "Tubbo. You know that's dangerous, all three of us could be easily taken out." I sigh. "Ranboo, please you know we need this. Just this once? We have a chance to do stuff, he is in prison so we have some closure. We could go and do something out the house and far away, a trip you could even say!" I just want to convince him! He stays quiet and turns around, not looking at me. He is thinking about it! Oh, thank goodness! Ranboo spins around really fast making me jump and he gently grabs my arm, he pulls me up the stairs and tells me, "Hide under the bed." he whispers and I quickly hide under. Suddenly there is someone pounding at the door at full force, I end up flinching so bad that I hit my horns on the bed above me. I slap a hand over my mouth to stop myself from yelling and Ranboo opens the front door -
"I saw small tracks leading to your house, was that from you?" Oh god, it's Techno and he sounds angry! I hear him step inside. "I mean yeah, who else would it be techno?" Ranboo reply. I can tell he is nervous. "Maybe it was an animal or an Enderman that felt me close by and ran over. Techno this happened before, calm down." This happened to Ranboo before? I hear a huff from Techno, "Techno wait!" I hear Ranboo run out of the house, their conversation is now muffled but I have good hearing.
"Techno can-" Ranboo is tense and anxious. "Can I go and spend time with my family, please. Not the Endermen, I mean Tubbo and Michael?" He finishes. "Whatever, anything for the little man. Was it his birthday yesterday? If so tell him happy birthday for me. Go have fun." Techno's voice slowly fades away. Ranboo runs into the house and up the stairs to me. Lowers his hand to help me up, I take it and smile up to him. "I'm guessing you heard?" He askes and I nod vigorously and start jumping. "You ready to go!" We yell at the same time, look at each other then laugh. It takes a while to calm down but we eventually do and get ready to leave. As we walk out the door we decide to walk to Snowchester. "I'm so glad he said yes Ranboo, this morning I hear Michael talking with Tommy and he needs more hang-out time with his dad." I joke around by bumping him with my shoulder. I giggle, "He's going to be so happy to see you!-"
There it is again! That feeling something is wrong! Tubbo! Stop thinking about it, they are fine. You will see them in an hour.
They will be fine....Right?
