The four boys sat crowded around the television with aching limbs. They should've known better than to pick a fight with the girls' lacrosse team. It only happened because Jungkook is competitive and Seokjin is offensively flirty. Plus, Taehyung can get quite idiotic and Jimin didn't really have the backbone to stop them. Instead he was always pulled into their nonsense. Actually, if one idiot got into a mess then they all got pulled into it. It was inevitable with them. It made them extremely close friends despite their differences. They would do anything for one another. Even if that meant getting beat up by a bunch of female lacrosse players.

How did they even get into that mess? Seokjin was singing as he always did. There was never a moment when they didn't hear Seokjin singing. Everyone on campus knew that he sang nonstop so...it had to be Jungkook. He's part of the boys' lacrosse team! Except all four of them were a part of the team...that meant it had to be Taehyung! Taehyung probably tried to make some sort of bet with them. Except that did sound somewhat like Jungkook. Jungkook didn't purposefully go looking for trouble though. It always found him. Jimin? No, Jimin wouldn't even hurt a fly.

Well, whatever. They were all pressing ice packs against their faces as they stared at the television. Correction, everyone except Seokjin. Taehyung passed a helmet to Seokjin before they got beat up. They obviously had to protect Seokjin's handsome face. It was a sentimental moment they shared for a few brief seconds. Then they were pummeled by scary girls.

"I could have sworn they would have dropped their anger by seeing Seokjin's face." Taehyung sighed.

"They would have if he wasn't so full of himself." Jungkook winced, his jaw not feeling the best. Though that was enough to get a loud scoff out of Seokjin.

"Full of myself? I'm just confident! And how could I not be with looks like these?" Seokjin stood up from the couch to present his face. Jimin nodded in acknowledgement while Jungkook and Taehyung weren't quite as moved. "I wanna be a famous singer and to be a famous singer, you need confidence! AND singing skills! Check it!" Seokjin jumped onto the coffee table to sing loudly.

Seokjin has a great voice. That was something they could all agree on. But right now, all Jungkook could focus on was Seokjin's dirty shoes ruining Jimin's coffee table. It was technically Jimin's mom's coffee table and the poor boy was trying to pretend it didn't bug him as he held the remote control. Jungkook looked over at Taehyung who was already on it. He leaped up from the couch to tackle Seokjin down to the floor, the two wrestling like little children.

Jimin panicked, slowing down on the channel surfing when something caught his attention.

Do you want to be a pop star?

"Woah, guys!" Jimin nearly stood up from his seat. He had been quietly flipping through the channels when he stumbled upon this. The famous producer by the name of Rocque was looking for the next big star. Taehyung and Seokjin stopped fighting in that instant. Their eyes were glued onto the television as big flashy letters moved on the screen.

"I-I wanna be a pop star." Seokjin pushed Taehyung off him. There were stars in his eyes as Jimin raised the volume.

"Dude!" Taehyung frowned to be shoved to the side. A hush came from Jungkook, all of them listening closely to the announcements.

Sign ups close up at five!

"What time is it!?" Seokjin jumped up from the ground.

"It's...ten minutes until five." Jungkook checked his watch.

"Oh no!" Jimin panicked. "Is it too late?"

"No way, we can drive there! Jimin, you have a learner's permit!" Taehyung pointed out. Hope immediately blossomed in Jungkook and Seokjin's eyes.
