Execrable

Chapter 1

I'm Hera and my younger sister is Bellatrix. Like everyone else my life is no different. I have to get out of bed and start toiling every day. Everyone in my family adores me. Well, why not? I'm the first child in my family. Everyone together raised me but I don't like my Aunts & Uncles much. They are not my type though they love me the most. All my cousins are too younger than me so I don't hang with them much. They are also a bit annoying.

Like every other day, I got out of bed, freshened up, and got ready to go to school. My sister was shouting at me for ruining her sleep. We live in a really small space. There is hardly any room to walk about voluntarily without hitting into anything. I left my sister like that and departed for school.

I entered the gate and saw my friends standing near my locker. I went to them and well when I went close I saw someone unusual standing there with them. It was Lisa the popular girl in my class. I'm not friends with Lisa neither are my friends. Lisa is part of the most famous gang in our school. She's also a topper. I don't have any vengeance with her but well she's not friendly with me either.

"Hi," Lisa said.
"Hello"
"So you're Hera?"
"Yes"
"I see"
"Umm... May I know why you're interested in me today?"
"I'm not interested in you. I just need to let you know what your sister did yesterday"

OMG... No!!! Bellatrix did something huge otherwise she wouldn't be here. I'm hella scared right now. I don't know what to do or say. I know my sister is troublesome but never did I ever visualized that she would turn out to be in trouble with this gang.

I should have guessed that something happened when she refused to come to school today. But well I can't reflect my thoughts on my face and let her know that I'm scared. I shook my fear away and pretended to be normal as usual.

"Bellatrix didn't come to school today," I said.
"She won't show up for this entire week I know," Lisa said with a smirk on her face.
"Sorry I gotta go I have class"
"Running won't help Hera. You have to pay for what your sister did."
"Oh Lisa, just spill it now. I don't have all day to listen to your nonsense".

I was being rude I know but well trying to pretend to be cool I turned out to be rude though that wasn't my intention.

Lisa's facial expression changed after I threw those words at her face. She looked like that it wasn't how she predicted me to respond to her words.

" Meet me at the recess. You'll find out" she said and left.

I was standing there with those words hanging on the air.

My friend Natalie patted me on the back and told me "It's okay you know how your sister always invites trouble"

Yeah, I know that Bellatrix can't stay alive without getting into trouble. The duo of my sister and trouble is like oxygen to living creatures. It's a must needed thing for survival.

I went to the class with my friends. I was sitting on my chair and noticed that someone broke it and put it up like to prank someone. Suddenly I was screaming at no one but at everyone for breaking my chair. My friend Bianca quickly changed my chair and made me sit.

"Calm down girl. I know your head is a mess right now but you can't just behave such with others." Bianca said to me.

I could burst out at anyone for nothing right now. I'm so angry with Bellatrix. I told her specifically not to mess with this gang and she agreed to that only to show me this day.

Last summer. Yes, last summer something happened at camping and it changed my life forever. Now I am completely different from what I used to be.
