Eggsy

Harry and I were able to easily out run Dean's friends. We only ran a few block until we returned to Harry's car, near the police precinct. As the two of us took our seats in the car, I began to laugh. "That was sick! Stupid as hell, but sick!" I was out of breath. "You aight mate?"

Harry was seemingly unphased by the physical exertion of their run. Harry took a moment to speak. "What do you do for work, Eggsy?"

"Whattaya mean?"

"The man from outside asked if I was a customer. I don't see how it would have been relevant, although the question made you uncomfortable. Why?" Harry was driving by now. I had no clue where we were going.

"Where are we going?" I waited for a reply, but Harry remained silent. I expected that he wanted me to answer his question first. "Dean's my mum's boyfriend. He doesn't work to help out my mum or baby sister. I had some-... I had opportunities to make money. Freelance." I trailed off.

Harry looked concerned. "Freelance? What do you mean? Yardwork? Babysitting? Tutoring?"

"Harry, I hardly think you're in a position to question my life. I only just met you. Where are we going?" I was on the defensive. Harry was cute. Uhg. I needed to stay safe and get back to my own territory. Today was beginning to be too much of a stretch.

"Call boy, then." Harry declared it. He was right. I felt the blood rush out of my face. I'd normally have a snappy retort for this scenario, but with Harry I froze.

"I don't think I should take you to your home if that man- Dean, was his name, yes? I won't take you there if he lives there. We are on our way to my house. I have an empty bedroom that I hope you will find comfortable." Harry finally answered my question. His house? I didn't mind, although I had just met Harry. My mind went to my baby sister, Daisy.

"What about my sister? Dean doesn't take care of her. My mum works." I didn't usually let anxieties show. Harry was trustworthy though. I could tell that.

"Would you like them to be moved out of their current home? I can arrange for the two of them to live where Dean can not reach them." I looked at Harry. He turned his head for a moment from the road. I could see honesty in his momentary gaze. Who the hell was Harry?

"Uhm. How could you do that?"

"Just allow me to take care of the details, Eggsy. Have I earned your trust yet?"

"Yes." I didn't think before answering.

Not a minute later, the car stopped in front of a large townhouse. Harry put the car in park and got out. I opened my door and turned to look at Harry.

"Holly hell! Is this one yours?"

Harry only smiled, winked, and walked up to the front door before unlocking it and entering.
