The sun felt nice against his skin. Taehyung hummed in content on top the rock he and Jungkook laid on. The sun drying the wet pastel blue shirt he had on. Shuffling around made him peak an eye open on to find the merman starring at him with a wide smile. "You really are the prettiest human!" Almost instantly he began to heat up. His cheeks glowing a bright pink making the merman laughed and pinch his cheek. "I also like your new hair. It matches mine." As Jungkook spoke he ran his hand through the slight damp locks of freshly dyed black hair.

"T-thank you." Too embarrassed from the sudden attention Taehyung hid his face in his arms. Only coming up from his arms a couple minutes later when the hand in his hair left and a loud splash was heard. He looked around for the merman. Eyes landing in him when he resurfaced. "I needed the water. The sun was starting to hurt sorry." Taehyung shook his head and reached his hand out. Smiling when Jungkook grabbed his hand and kissed the back of it. "I wish I was a merman." "I wish I was a human."

"What? Why?" Jungkook shrugged and frowned. "There's so much I want to know about. I wanna see a baby. I wanna run, and walk. I really wanna try dancing. I saw some people in a boat dancing. It looked so fun. I wanna know what shoes feel like. I wanna be with you. Explore your world with you." "Jungkook I-" "if only I had one day. Magic like that doesn't exist though. I asked." Taehyung couldn't help the small giggle. "You asked?" "I asked and he said as the ro- h-he said that it's not possible."

"I know it doesn't help but I'm okay like this. I'm glad I have you here. In the ocean or on land. I'd take you anyway I could." Jungkook felt his heart pick up. His whole body tingling. "Really?" Taehyung nodded. He slipped into the water as well. Immediately grabbing onto Jungkooks shoulders. As they were much further than the normal area. He'd panic if Jungkook was not there. "Yeah. This is enough for me." The merman smiled widely. His heart feeling like it could burst. "Can I kiss you?" With a small gulp Taehyung nodded.
