"Yes. I will marry you." Sarah said holding out her left hand. Matteo put on the diamond ring. Then he stood up and hugged her tight she hugged him back.

---one week after engagement---

"Yes or no. Engaged na ba kayo ni Sarah?" Kris asked.

Bamboo was watching the Buzz.

"Yes." Matteo answer as Sarah put her hand up. (Lol parang kay Toni and Paul )

Bamboo felt like a rain of bullets hit his heart. Jolina heard it as she walked into Bamboos house.

"So Matteo how did you propose?"

"Well Tito Boy..." and he explained it in great detail.

With every word said, a knife stabbed Bamboo in the heart.

"Maraming salamat at mabuhay kayo!" Tito Boy ended the show.

Jolina immediately ran to Bamboo and held him tight. For the first time Jolina experience this kind of crying from Bamboo. He was shouting and towing himself around, but she held tight.

"BAKIT? BAKIT? BAKIT?!" Bamboo broke free of Jolinas grip and went to his room and locked it.

Jolina left him alone. She sat on the couch and didn't know what to do now. She also got bad news. He sister died... Bamboos mother died in a car accident going to the airport to come to the Philippines. She sobbed, then she prayed that every thing would be alright.

After a day, Jolina made something for Bamboo at eat because he hadn't had come out of his room since. She opened his door and saw him sitting on the floor. He had heavy eyebags and his clothes were groggy.

Jolina was hesitant. Should she tell him what had happened to his mother that he loved dearly or let him eat first.

"Kumain ka muna please."

Bamboo listened. He was hungry. He finished his food and sat on his bed. Jolina sat beside him.

"Bamboo may kailangan kang malaman. Alam ko hindi talaga tama ang timing nito pero tal..."

"Ano." He said a bit agitated.

"Ang mama mo kasi..."

"Anong nag yari sa nanay ko?"

"... wala na siya Boo... nasa langit na siya... patay na ang kapatid ko... ang mama mo."

He laughed.

"Hindi yan totoo. Di yan totoo." He got louder and angry. He took the glass h from the tray and threw it against his closet. Jolina was weeping and then Bamboo fell onto his bed and curled up into a ball and kept repeating: "Di yan totoo." Jolina, sobbing, held Bamboo tightly and Bamboo just kept crying.

In the morning Jolina already was getting ready papers so her sisters corpse could be sent back home. Bamboo went down and sneaked out to go to a bar.

He got wasted. He woke up on the bar floor which was now empty. He realized a day had passed. He drove to a liquor store and in disguise, bought tons of liquor. He went back home. Jolina wasn't there so he brought all the liquor into his room. He continuously go wasted all the time. He thought the pain would go away. But he was just hurting others especially Jolina. Sarah was now unaware of what was happening to his life.

Many months passed, he attended his mother's wake, sober, he stopped doing gigs. He was slowly losing his job. He continuously got wasted. The ASHBOO concert was cancelled and became Sarahs solo concert. (sorry guys peace plz ✌) His life was now a train wreck.

One night he was, again, drunk. He carelessly walked out of his house, then on the road. And then started shouting out how he hated his life. Suddenly he was hit by something, a car. Who was in it, he didn't see. The last thing he heard was, and he was able to respond to it.

"Bambs?!"

"Just love me." Bamboo said. Then his world went black.
