The unexpected

3rd person POV

It was morning and shoto was woke up from his sleep by one of the palace maids , shoto got up and groaned as he didn't get the right amount of sleep he needed last night as he was thinking about how he had fought with his father last night.

Shoto's POV

'I have to go talk to father about what happened yesterday'
'I know that it was his fault as he yelled at me for not attending my Royal lessons'
'But I should not have yelled back at him'

I took a shower and got dressed to hear a knock on my door, I open it to see a maid, she greeted me and told my family was waiting for me at the dining table.
'Apparently I have woken up quite late today' I thought to myself as I walked down the stairs as I stepped into the dining hall I saw father discussing something serious with my family.

As I walked to the dining table I saw some worried, pitiful looks shot at me by my siblings and some of the maids I've know for a long time.

I was confused but decided not to ask my father but as soon as I sat down on my chair I heard ny father call out to me.

Enji:(E)
Shoto:(S)

E: "I have something I need to tell you about shoto."

S: "Yes father" I said with a confused look on my face.

E: "I have decided that you will be taking my place as the king of our kingdom."

S: 'I was shocked' "What-"

E: "There's more to it."

S: 'Weird' "Ok father go on"

E: "The king can't take the throne without a queen......."

S: "And?"

E: "I have decided that you will get married to the princess of "The Ravens" Momo yaoyorozu"

S: "WHAT!?" *I yelled slamming the table as I stood up* "Father I expect my life to be discussed with me before you jump into conclusion ,Without even my opinion!?"

E: "Shoto when it comes to your life believe me your parents opinion are better than your own" He said with a calm tone "It is discussed you will marry princess Momo and there is going to be no change in that"

As he said that I got off of my chair and stormed to my room not looking back at my father who yelled at me to come back , I didn't care I was so upset.

When I went into my room and locked it, I felt myself sliding down the door with tears in my eyes 'why did my life have to be so complicated' I thought to myself as more tears ran down my chin .

'I can't take it anymore first I lost touya now this'

I don't know what I was thinking but I did the unthinkable when everyone were asleep I got dressed and strapped ny sword on and sneaked to the palace gates I knew that no guards will be there as they all usually go for a 5 minute break at this time I pushed my stuff through the gates and started climbing but that's when I heard talking which was getting closer, so I climbed down off the other side of the gate as soon as possible

As I started walking through the empty street I walked for about who knows 1 hour maybe? As I continued walking I saw a small stable in the right corner of the street and I also noticed that from there it was a wide open field .

'I won't be able to walk out of the kingdom in time before they notice I'm gone'
'So its not a crime to take a horse right?'

Now I was on a very beautiful white horse going through the fields, but of course I didn't take the horse without leaving anything I left a few golden drachmas in the stable.

'Now only God knows where I'm going'
I thought to myself as I rode through an empty field

'I hope it's somewhere ,where I can be myself......... '
