The painful journey

Shoto POV

I had crossed the fields successfully but now I had a more challenging route to go on. 

I was going through a forest which was not that crowded with trees so my horse was able to go through but the ground was uneven in many places so I had to be careful.

It has been approximately 14 hours since I left my fathers palace I had to take a few breaks in between but had taken a long time to find a hiding spot which was difficult when I was travelling through the fields but eventually found one near to the forest.

As I was travelling I noticed that the road I was travelling in got narrowed and was becoming quite small for the horse to travel but I decided to take the risk as I was carefully guiding the horse to go through the narrow road I saw that the road got wider a few feet ahead of me.

I wanted to hurry up and get on the wider road so I hurried the horse that's when I made the wrong decision, the poor horse slid down the narrow path and with me strapped onto it.

It made a painful noise and I whimpered as I hit my head on the ground , I noticed the horse had a scratch on its knee so I used the cloth I got for bandaging myself if I got hurt but I had spare so I used it to make the horse feel better.

We decided to take a break as the sun was starting to get high in the sky, and I realized it was noon.

When I touched my head because of the pain I got some of ny blood smeared on my hand , so I quickly took out a cloth and wrapped it around my head to make it much painless and it actually worked.

I wanted to leave but the horse was tired and so was I, the horse was already asleep I needed to keep watch bt I felt myself slowly dose off as I laid on the tree I fell on.

A few hours later

I woke up to a horse licking my face , I looked at the sky and realized the sun was setting I got up and helped the horse to get back on the road I was still in the slightly steep and narrow pit but decided to climb on the road after the road grew wider I guided the horse to the wider road and got on it as the road was wider now we began our journey again.

We made our way out of the forest, the sun had already set and We came to a place where there were a series of walls covering the path in front 'The kingdom's border' I thought

I quickly hid behind a bush as there was a goods carriage coming behind me I sneaked to the side where there were no guards and used the carriage as a hiding spot to get out of the kingdom.

As I went out the gates I quickly got away from the carriage so no one notices me, after the carriage left I continued going who knows where?

I was now travelling with my horse through the Fields in front of me,I also realised that my absence in the kingdom would be clear now and that soldiers will come looking for me

The sun was starting to rise,As I was going through the field I heard a loud roar coming from......... Above me? But how?
I got alarmed so I got off the horse and pulled out my sword just in case anything attacks me just I finish that thought a dragon!? Lands right in front of me I was skilled with swords due to my lessons but this dragon was huge but I didn't have time to think of a plan to get out of here so..........

I yelled at it and charged it with my sword drawn but before I could strike it ,a voice came from it first I thought the dragon was speaking? But then I saw a man climb up from its back.

"No need to charge my dragon he won't do any harm to you" He said with a growl and a little bit of anger.

"I can't see you could you pls come into the light? " I asked

He came into the light in response and I saw...........
