Crisis of lust

Things will only get better

-I'm a part time travel vet so I help people and their animals, so today I am driving to San Francisco to help a woman with her horses. -
-I get there and I see a short, pretty, brown haired lady, and she waves at me and starts coming my way.-
She says " Hi, I'm Lisa, and you are?
" oh hi, I'm Troye, you called me about your pregnant horse."-troye
" oh yes right, now I remember, sorry, right this way"-lisa
-She leads him to her horses, Dahlia, Peach, and Ramone.
She tells him that peach is pregnant and is expecting a baby soon-
He tells Lisa that she looks fine and looks like she will have a healthy pregnancy.
" call me if there is any trouble though, but she looks healthy to me."-troye
-He hands her a business card.-
-She thanks him and he heads back to his car and goes about his day.-
-When he gets to his job, his boss calls him into his office.-
" hello Troye, how are you today?"-boss
" I'm fine I guess, so you wanted to see me?"-troye
" yes I wanted to talk you about something..."-boss
-They both look at eachother.-
" now Troye I know that you have been working here for a while and I wanted to congratulate you on that because you are one of my hardest workers."- boss
Troye sits there in silence
" what I'm trying to say is that...I'm giving you a raise to the next level, and time off."-boss
" are you serious!!!"-troye
" serious as can be"-boss
" oh wow thank you so Much!" -troye
-They both get up and shake hands.-
" you need to work even harder now though so that you don't lose your spot."-boss
-Troye says thank you again and leaves. -
Troye is heading home and he sees a familiar face in the house across the street...
" Dad, is that you?-troye
" oh hey Troye"-nick
" I was wondering who was moving into this old house, why didn't you tell me?"-troye
"I wanted to surprise you and we don't talk enough for me to have told you...so how's life been?"-nick
" it's fine I guess."-troye
-Awkward silence -
" well I'm gonna just go on back home now, I will see you later I guess ... neighbor ."-troye
-He goes home in silence and works on school work-
-It's the next day-
Troye checks the time and sees that it's nearly 10
" omg I'm about to be late for my first class!"-troye
He gets up and puts on some clothes and rushes out the door.
Business 101
Time goes by slowly and he looked out the corner of his eye and he saw the girl from the cafe.
Time goes by faster than ever since he has seen her and they have nearly every class together.
"hey, are you following me?"-troye
-She looks at him confused.-
" I said are you following me?"-troye
" no, why would you think that?"-girl
"because you have been in nearly all of my classes."-troye
-She's silent for a moment.-
" ...were you WATCHING me!?"-girl
" no it was nothing like that, I just kept seeing you, and so I thought you were following me."-troye
" this is college, I don't have time to go to someone else's class to go see a cute guy just to miss my own class."-girl
"you think I'm cute?"-troye
"I have to go."-girl
troye stops by the cafe to get some food before going home.
" so you are following me."-troye
" You scared me!"-girl
" My apologies, would you like to come sit with me?"-troye
"I was really trying to get out of here, but you look so lonely so sure... Only for a minute."-girl
She gets her order and sits.
" so what's your name?"-troye
" Lavender, you?"-lavender
" Troye, lavender is a pretty name."-troye
-She thanks him-
" ...so what's your major?"-troye
" business."-lavender
" wow me too!"-troye
"really!!?"-lavender
" yea, I'm a travel vet but I'm in college so that I can start my own business.."-troye
" Thats cool, I want to be a psychologist and open my own business. I'm gonna open my own business and maybe move away from here."-lavender
" Which state?"-troye
" I don't know yet..."-lavender
-Silence-
" well troye it was lovely meeting you , but I have to go."-lavender
" oh ok... well I guess I will see you around, bye."-troye
-He watches her walk away with a smile playing on his lips.
He throws the last of his food away and drives home.-
-When he gets home he sees a note on the table.-
It says " dear son I know that I have not been the best father to you and that it was a surprise that I moved in right next to you but I would really like to fix things between us by having dinner together this Saturday, you know where to find me if the answer is yes, and if it's no, then I understand, love dad."
-Troye throws the note back down and goes out for a run to clear his mind.-
" We HAVE to stop meeting like this lavender."-troye
" You're telling me?"-lavender
" This is my special place to clear my thoughts, I wouldn't have come if I knew that you were here."-troye
"sorry... I just like to come here, I don't live to far from here, and its the nearest park."- Lavender
-Troye sits down on the swings next to her.-
"Do you live far from here? I mean obviously you live close but..."-Lavender
" I have my own place."-troye
" that's cool."-lavender
" yea."-troye
-silence-
" This is gonna sound childish but would you like to play in the sand with me? Instead of just sitting here in silence."-lavender
" lol ok."-troye
-He throws some sand on her-
"...oh it's on."-lavender
She chases him with sand slowly falling out of her hands.
While leaving a trail of laughter behind.
" I'm gonna get you Troye!"-lavender
" we'll see about that!"-troye
He runs into his home with her coming close in his trails.
She's cautious to go inside.
" come find me!"-troye
"This house is huge!"-lavender
Lavender looks around while she's searching for him and she looks at photos of him and his family that seem to be all around the house.
She sees something move and goes to it, looks to be a shadow, it moves again and she gets scared so she just stands there for a second.
-Troye yells-
"are you still here?!"-troye
-She jumps-
"yes!"-lavender

If troye is upstairs... Who's downstairs in the room with her?
