𝐉𝐄𝐀𝐍 sat at her office holding a list of commissions she set out to do while the ever famous honorary knight was away. Ever since she became the acting grand master her health always came secondary whether she liked it or not.

Jean placed the pen down soon after marking all the commissions she had finished earlier today. She sighed.

"No. I'm not done yet." She muttered under her breath unknowingly.

"Well look who it is." A male voice announced as it was approaching her office. Before Jean could even react, the door swinged open; allowing the air from outside match the pace of her light blonde tips she let loose on either side of her face.

Jean looked up to see who could possibly be the intruder but she was certainly not excepting him.

"M-master diluc?" Jean widened her eyes in surprise. She couldn't remember the last time Diluc had stepped inside the Knights of Favonious Headquarters. As much as she recalled, he despised the knights so why would he-

"You're slow." Diluc commented.

"What would happen if I was a random intruder? You'd be dead meat by now for sure." The Red haired figure exclaimed as he leaned onto the doorframe of her office.

"No, my guards simply wouldn't allow that. They're actually much more skilled than you think." Jean argued back. Trying her best to remain her composure from the lack of sleep.

"Really? Those trash that don't even bear visions?" Diluc commented, glancing at her figure from his side.

"You seem to be underestimating my soldiers, Master Diluc. Now if you would kindly tell me what brings you here then I might spare you from your... unpleasant entrance." Diluc frowned.

"You didn't sleep yet, didn't you?" Diluc murmured blankly, taking a guess from her very tired figure.

"W-what?" Jean looked rather perplexed by his question. She couldn't even remember the last time they exchanged words before this due to her tremendously large schedule.

"Jean. I've known you ever since we were kids. Please don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about." Diluc's tone changed into those of worry but just slightly atleast.

"I'm sorry Master Diluc, it's just with the recent incident with Dvalin and Venti i just-" Jean stated but was interrupted shortly after.

"Don't worry about it. I apologize for my sudden entrance. I just needed to talk to you about-"

"Oh? Am I interrupting something" A female voice interjected, catching the attention of the two figures.

"Lisa?" Both of them questioned at the same time. Lisa could only giggle in response.

Jean cleared her throat before speaking. "You're certainly not, please come in."

"Well then, since you asked so kindly~" Lisa hummed. Taking a seat just across from Diluc.

"It isn't everyday the former captain visits us, I wonder what's the special occasion?" Lisa asked taking glances between the two as she sipped on her favorite morning beverage. Earl grey tea with no sugar.

"It's..regarding the fatui." Diluc sighed.

Jean cocked an eyebrow in response.

"It's nothing that of urgent really, it's just that something inside me tells me that if we leave this matter alone then it's going to end up in something more terrible than it seems."

"That's strange." Jean commented. If that was the case, Diluc would have acted on it into his own matters. Why concern the Knights Of Favonious when he clearly despised them?

"Well- if it isn't a bother to the both of you, Alice just contacted me that she'll be leaving Klee in our custody again. Will one of you volunteer to watch her?" Lisa interrupted their brief conversation, changing the topic as she did so.

"I'll do it..." Diluc replied turning away, making his face expression oblivious to both figures.

Both women turned at him with shock plastered on their faces. If there was anyone that volunteered to watch over Klee, Diluc was certainly the last option. Yet he's volunteering..? Thinks keep getting stranger and stranger. Jean thought.

"Well that settles it then! I'll get going now to give you both some privacy..and also Diluc, take care of her okay?" With that Lisa took off with a small smile plastered across her face. Diluc and Jean obviously does not know what she's talking about and just brushed it off as one of her silly little jokes instead.

Diluc scanned his surroundings before approaching Jean. With Lisa's departure it left the two of them alone.

"Go to my place at dawn winery, you need some rest." Diluc placed a kiss on top of Jean's forehead after he made sure that they were both alone.

"I'll have my maid pack your stuff for you if you'd like." Diluc added, tucking Jean's golden locks between her hair as he did so.

"I'd love that." Jean replied, looking up at her lover with that smile he knew all too well.

"I'll talk to you tomorrow okay? For now get some rest."

Jean giggled at the thoughtfulness of her lover. "Yes I suppose so."
