-Why do you look so happy early in the morning. – said an annoyed Hwasa.
-I got a text from Solar. – and Wheein and Byul made eye contact.
-Don't mind me, Wheein. I told you, I'm fine. –
-Right. – said Wheein and Hwasa roll her eyes. –
-Are you going straight from here? – ask Byul seeing Wheein getting ready and heading to the door.
-Yeah, I think so. Thank you for letting me sleep over. – said Wheein and Byul smiled and put a straight face once Wheein left.
Wheein walked inside the café and saw Solar sitting next to a window. Solar was about to look up when she felt a weight on her, knowing that Wheein hugged her, but Wheein separates fast enough.
-I'm s-sorry. You're probably still mad at me. –
-You're unbelievable. – smile Solar. -Why are you wearing your uniform? –
-I spent the night out. – and Wheein started to explain.
-Oh, so you spent the night at Byul's place after our discussion. I'm sorry I said all those harsh things the other day. –
-It's okay. – smile Wheein when she felt Solar grabbed her hand.
-It's not okay. It's not that simple. I said all that stuff knowing it'd hurt you. I've felt inferior to you for a very long time not. And I've done some embarrassing things. I know this sounds cheesy, but I want to fix this. I want to stop comparing myself so much and accept myself as I am. I'm going to make that effort for myself and our relationship. –
-Sounds perfect. – smile Wheein.
-But you have to change, too. –
--I WILL DO ANYTHING!! – said Wheein excited.
-This is exactly what I'm talking about. This side of you. I want us to have a healthier relationship. I'm sure you know what I mean. I want you to stop depending on and obsessing over me so much and take care of yourself more. –
-I don't think that's going to work. – said Wheein.
-We can take our time, and this will be our first stop. I don't want to lie to you, and I want to stop hiding things about myself. – said Solar taking Wheein's sketchbook out of her bag. -Remember this, Wheein? Back in middle school, you left this at the convenience store in front of our prep school. I was already twisted with jealousy back then. – said Solar and Wheein took the book. She flips the pages to the back where she saw the phone number.
-Where did you find it? –
-I- I stole it. –
-Tell me you're lying. Say it now. – and Solar started to feel guilty and scared.
-I'm sorry. – she said when she saw Wheein showing her the phone number.
-This was my escape plan. But it fell through. Solar, the day you saved me, I was planning to run away from my father, and if my plan had succeeded, I would never have fallen for you. I couldn't have fallen for you, would be the correct way to say it. Because I never would've met you anyway. – said Wheein with a sad smile. -Is it okay if I call Byul and Hwasa over. I have something I want to tell you guys. – Wheein called the girls and in few minutes they arrive.
-I thought you guys were on a date. –
-What's with the notebook? – ask Byul.
-There's something I need to tell you guys. I'm sure it'll be good news for you, Hwasa. It'll be boring for you Byul since you already know everything. – said Wheein. -You guys know about the artist Jung Hyeon, right? –
-Wait, so you're gonna tell us about her? What got into you? – said Hwasa.
-Everyone praised my mother for being a genius, but she didn't start as an artist. –
