Alex here. 20 minutes late to class. As always. I know that isn't the greatest first impression but I'm not here for impressions. I'm only here for one thing. Finding the boy of my dreams.

Now I know that came out in the complete opposite way then I wanted it to but that isn't really the point. I'm currently at school obviously to get an education but I'm telling you my story to find the boy of my dreams.

And when I say that I don't mean your typical "Ooh I love him I can't live without him!" What I mean is the boy who infiltrated my dreams and turned my life upside down.

As I ran to school that day I couldn't stop thinking about the weird dream I had last night. A strange boy with the palest of skin, the whitest of hair and the bluest of eyes appeared before me in a meadow of flowers. We didn't talk long, only for but a moment. And then I was back in my room. I know it was just a dream but it was so vivid I would have sworn it was real. I know I should forget about it but something about it makes it hard to forget. Why was he so unforgettable and what was so captivating about that experience?

But I can't really think about that right now because I'm dashing through the halls to get to my class that I'm already late to. When I finally got there, I tried sneaking in as quietly as possible while the teacher's back was turned.

"Alex, dear, would you like to remind the class what the equation for the Pythagorean theorem is?" I hear my teacher say, still writing on the chalk board.

"a^2 + b^2 = c^2? Miss?" I mumbled as i rushed to my seat. "Would you also like to remind us what time you're supposed to be in this class by?" She asked as she puts the chalk down and turns to me.

"9:30 AM Miss." I say looking down at my desk. "And it is currently what time? Anyone?" "It's 10:25 AM, Ms. Leslie." Charlie chimes with a beaming smile. "Put a pin in it, Charlie, I didn't fucking ask you." I snarl at her.

"Language, Alex. And next time I want you in my class on time. Do you understand me?"

          "Yes, Ms. Leslie."

After class, she asked me to stay behind. It wasn't anything serious just telling me what I missed and asking if everything was okay. Teachers tend to do that if you're running late or if things seem a bit off to them. I told her I was fine, took the work, and went to my next class.

By the time lunch came around, I was exhausted. I sat next to the only person I ever really want to be around and started plucking on my phone. We don't talk a lot; either of us, which made being around him even more perfect. Things didn't feel forced or awkward. While I was plucking on my phone I came across a book with a cover that was a field of beautiful flowers. It was filled with every flower color you could think of. In the middle of the field was a girl and a boy holding hands, their foreheads pressed against one another.

Instantly, you could tell this was going to be a romance novel. And I, for one, am not big on romance. So I kept scrolling. But something made me scroll back. The field in the cover looked exactly like the field in my dream. Now granted, it could be a coincidence like all fields would essentially look the same unless u memorize exactly where every single flower is which would be impossible because depending on where you stand in that field every flower would look like it's in a different place.

But i don't believe in coincidences. So i scrolled down to the description. After reading the sappiness that was going to go on in that book, i kept scrolling. Why would that have anything to do with my dream? And even if it did, what answers would it truly give me?
