"I was expecting you,"  he told me with a warm smile. He handed me a wand and I moved it around, the glass pot on the top of a shelf broke, he waved his wand and muttered a spell, instantly fixing it. After a few tries, I finally found the correct one. Mr. Ollivander gasped when a string of golden light appeared out of my wand.

"It can't be," he muttered avoiding eye contact, "leave the 7 gold galleons on the table," He said as he scurried off to the back of the store. I shrugged and put down the galleons, then I left the store.

I walked down Diagon Alley admiring every single shop I came across, suddenly I bumped into a boy that looked around 2 years older than me.

"I'm sorry," I told him with an apologetic smile

"Don't worry about it," He told me with a grin, "Anyways, my name is Lucius Malfoy what's yours?"

"Rose Potter," I told him, his expression dropped when I said the word, Potter,

"I didn't know James had a sister," Lucius told me with a snarl, I backed away, startled at his change of tone.

"U-Um I've got to go maybe see you around?" I lied and rushed off not looking behind me. I walked into the nearest store, Magical Menagerie. I noticed it was a pet shop filled with screeching owls and hissing cats. I took a deep breath trying to calm myself and then I exited the store as if nothing happened. My eyes scanned the crowd hoping not to see Lucius. Luckily he wasn't there, I decided it would probably be for the best that forget that had ever happened. After all, why should I worry about such a small thing?

I strolled through Diagon Alley looking for somewhere to stay for the night, little did I know that I wouldn't have to worry about that later on.

I looked around and I noticed that it was starting to get late. I didn't even notice that I had walked into a completely different alley, I didn't even notice the dark figures standing there. I heard Lucius's recognizable voice out of the shadows.

"Yeah, that's her,"

Suddenly a hand covered my mouth and pushed me into the darkness. I froze in fear, I realized that I should have seen the obvious signs. Of course, Lucius Malfoy was a death eater, I should have been more careful. I heard a deep raspy voice whisper in my ear.

"I wouldn't scream if I was you, sweetheart,"

That was the last thing I heard before everything went completely black.
