Sure i may look normal to you, but I'm not. None of the races want me, not the fairies, not the vampires, not the sirens, not the were wolves, not the nymphs, not even the hunters want me!

I am Annabeth James, And i am a hybrid. A useless hybrid, something that no body wants! Sure they want me, until they learn my secret.

That's why I am in the middle of no where being hunted down by every race! How did I even get into this situation? Its a long long story, but if you want, i could tell you.

Okay,Well, you see, it all started with this guy...

"A HYBRID, SHE IS A HYBRID. I HAVE A HYBRID LIVING IN THE PACK HOUSE!" alpha James Yells, his voice vibrating through the house.

"YES, BUY SHE IS STILL ONE OF US," James's mate, Sammantha, yells back.

"SHE IS A HYBRID! A RACE THAT IS EXTINCTED FOR A REASON, AND I WILL NOT HAVE ONE LIVING THIS CLOSE TO THE PACK! OR ANY OTHER PACK!" he yells.

I grab my backpack that I have filled with extra clothes and the money that I have been saving for a car and collage.

I quickly write my final good bye's to my only friend that I have had here.

'Katie,

I am soooooo sorry for leaving. But it's what must be done. Thank you for all the great memories that we share. Well you know how I suck at goodbye's! So yeah, hope to see you soon.

Beth'

I leave the note on the small desk inthe corner. I open the window.

Throwing my bag to the ground two stories down, I swing my legs over the edge. I pull my light brown hair into a tight ponytail, and pull my hood over my head. I jump.

The air whistles around me as I fall to earth. Ii bend my knees, and move my body so that I will land on my feet.

I feel the soft earth beneath my feet. I landed, and in one piece! I grab my black backpack. This was it. I could still turn back.

I hear a shotgun being loaded from the hall outside my room. No way I was ever going back there!

I run, straight for the bus station across town. The only town I have every known is in Texas. Vernon, Texas. The only home I have ever known. And the closest thin I ever had to parents were going to kill me.

Or try to. Well if they wanted me dead the were going to have to find me first.

But how hard is it really to find a pale skinned girl that has brown hair, and bright yet dark blue eyes in Texas. Well really easy, and that was why I was leaving Texas. Forever.
