Recap: Chuuya and Dazai end up at the same place for a mission, finding a clock which brought 16 year old Dazai to that timeline, the clock falls and breaks. Dazai and the 16 year old Dazai went to court and fixed the clock, also not going to prison.

It was the Tanabata festival in three days and the Ada and Pm were both going.

Dazai was lying on his bed thinking about what happened the past month or so, he was surprised to acknowledge that he hadn't done anything out of the ordinary, well except for a few days ago. That day really made him think, think about his actions, what could've he done differently?
The way he killed numerous of people, he probably wouldn't be able to change that, he knew he wouldn't have been able to change anything even if he knew what the future would bring for him.

He sat up and looked out his apartment window, it was beautiful.

He checked his phone '1:04' was the time, he decided to go to sleep since he really had nothing else to do.
He lay down and tried to go to sleep, though his thoughts were bugging him, it was almost too many thoughts, like a box of toys but all of the toys are stuffed in and overfilling the box.
He hated that feeling, he just wanted it to go away, to leave him alone after all these years.
Being alone in a quiet room makes your thoughts spiral.

Eventually, though, he went to sleep a half an hour later.
He woke up, hearing birds chirping and looking out his window he saw a bright blue sky with a few clouds.
He looked to his left and saw his clock " What time is i- 7:37 am..... SHIT, it's way too early to wake up"
He tried to go back to sleep but he couldn't, so the day started.
"I just want to lie down and perish" he sighed as he put his arm on his eyes

He had work at 9 am so he would have plenty of time to get ready.
He got dressed, got his breakfast and then he went to the agency.
It was '8:54 am' and he had arrived.

Here's the list of who gets there before Dazai:

Fukuzawas was usually the first, then Yosano, Ranpo, Kenji, Kunikida, Atsushi and Kyouka and finally Dazai (not counting Tanizaki and Naomi since they have school)

Once Dazai walked in Yosano and Ranpo were there, they were very surprised to see usually the latest person come in pretty early.

Kunikida walked into the agency at 9:00 am on the dot, he was very shocked to see Dazai in before him.

"So, you decided to come in early for once?" Kunikida said while walking over to his computer

"No" Dazai replied "The clocks turned forward, so technically speaking, you're the super late one"

Kunikida was typing practically an essay on his computer, every time Dazai talked to him and tried to distract him he would press the keys harder and harder each time.

"That is the most unbelievable story that I've ever heard Dazai"

Dazai talked on about how the clocks actually did turn forward for 20 minutes but had failed.
