"SURPRISE!" everyone shouted in unison.

It's was silent for a few seconds. Her face was emotionless but her eyes told a different story. Youngji was probably processing what was going on. Her face soon ended up in a cute frown.

"You lied to me Kangjun!" she glared at him while he just chuckled and shrugged.

"I was only helping him." he pointed to me and everyone's eyes riveted towards my direction.

Woohoo I'm in the spotlight now! What was I supposed to say again? Ugh my insides feel like jelly now that Youngji's infront of me.

All I could get out was a simple "Hehe hi Youngji." I turned to Kangjun "what did you say to get her to come?"

"I said you were in the hospital." he replied.

"Awh you still care for me! But don't worry. The wild and sexy Jackson Wang would never get hurt." I smirked

She tried to keep her frown but I saw her crack a smile.

I smiled at the sight. I knew that cute smile wouldn't last though. I wonder if she's still mad at me.

As if on cue, her smile disappeared and her face went emotionless again.

I guess she remembers what she said to me. This is gonna be harder than I thought.

"Well if that's it. I'm going... Bye." she turned to leave but I grabbed her wrist before she could go.

"I'm not letting you go. Please let me explain." I pleaded.

She didn't turn around but I could feel that she was on the verge of crying. "There's nothing to explain Jackson. Let go." She attempted to wriggle out of my grasp but I wasn't going to let go that easily.

"There's actually a lot to explain. Please. Just stay." I turned her around and held her by the shoulders. I scanned her features and saw that my prediction was correct. Her eyes were noticeably watery.

I mentally punched myself because I was the reason she was hurting.

"O-okay.." I smiled and turned to look at the crowd triumphantly. They gave my thumbs up and smiles. I used their motivation to tell her what happened.

I rotated back so I was facing my Youngji again. When I was about to open my mouth someone else beat me to it.

"I need to confess something." it was Kangjun's voice. No. Is he exposing himself?

"No hyung it's ok." I gave him a worried look.

"It's not ok Jackson. I need to get this off my chest. It's for you and me." He took a deep breath and faced the crowd. "First off, I regret what I did and I hope you all can forgive me. I'm really sorry Youngji."

She looked confused but she would know what he's talking about in a second. The crowd had a similar expression but I was only worried about Kangjun. Why was he confessing? This could cause a big dent in his reputation. He cut off my thoughts by continuing his speech.

"When I first laid eyes on Youngji, I had this weird feeling in my heart. I liked her. A lot. But I knew the feeling wasn't mutual." he sighed and glanced back at me "Jackson was in the way. And I didn't like that."

I sighed and watched everyone's expressions. They were all either confused, surprised, or worried. I expected this to happen but not in this way.

"So, I came with this horrible plan that would split them up. I won't go into detail," he turned to Youngji "but what you saw that night.. That was my work. I planned everything. I chose love over friendship when deep down I knew I would never receive love from you. I'm really sorry Youngji. I really am."
