Chases pov:
I didn't realize she still had my hoodies... she probably forgot she did. "Uhm.. y-yea.. " she stammered. "Oh i-" i was cut off by Dixie. "Ughhh come IN guyss!!" We both looked at each other and followed Dixie inside. Thomas came up to Charli. "Charli, this may be awkward but we don't have any rooms for you to stay in because Nessa took your old room." My heart started racing. Oh shit, she's gonna have to stay in my room. With me. For the first time in 2 months. Chase, stop. You shouldn't be so nervous. So why are you?? Maybe because- no Chase. You guys are over. Stop thinking that. Charli looked nervous. "I- oh yeah where is Nessa? Can't I just stay with Addi, dix or avani??" She asked thomas. "Avani already is sharing with Anthony, and Dixie and Addison are sharing. Nessa's sharing with Jaden, they're on a date rn."
Charli's POV:
No, no, no this is not happening. I can't share a room with Chase. Not after everything. We're over. "C'mon Charli, you can unpack your stuff in my room. I'll sleep on a air matress, it's fine." I hear Chase say. I follow him to his room and swallow hard as the memories hit me. So many late nights, tiktoks, just everything. Even though he'll never feel the same way, I miss him. He starts setting up the matress on the floor for himself. "Chase- you don't have too sleep on a matress. It's fine, it's not like we haven't slept in a bed together before.." Oh shit. Charli did you really just say that?? Nononono Charli, he's your ex. "I- uh- ok.." He says. I start to unpack and I hear Chase say "Lmao more of my clothes??" I look at my suitcase.. oh shit Charli.. you practically packed all of the clothes of his you have. "I-i- uh- yea..." I mumble. I turn away from him so he can't see how red my face is and go to the closet. I come back out and finish unpacking to go find Nessa. "Hey, watcha doing? " he asks. "Oh, going to find Nessa.. " "Oh.. I'll come find Jaden too I guess." Well, this is going to be awkward.. Nessa's my best friend and she kissed Chase.. i go downstairs and see Nessa talking too Avani. We turn and see each other. She runs up to me and hugs me and i hug her back. "CHARLII you're heree" she yells. "Hi bestie im backk!!" "Let's go to my room Char!!" She says. I follow her to her room and sit on her bed. "Charli.... i didn't kiss Chase.."
