"Why is she taking the fox away..." [Y/N] asked as he sat next to Yuna. The fox had woken up and started to look around, taking in its surroundings. The fox had started to shake a bit before it turned and saw [Y/N]. It had started whimpering as it had tried to reach [Y/N].
"You see, this fennec fox you have here, had escaped the fire that burned down the animal shelter. It's parents were both killed in the fire and it has been in the city by itself without its parents." Doctor Akimatsu said as she looked at the fox.
"But we were taking of it this whole time!" [Y/N] protested as Yuna nodded.
"The fox had been following me around for a few days and I took it home because it had no where else to go."
"Yeah, it took a liking to [Y/N]!" Yuna added on as [Y/N] nodded.
"Whether it likes you or not, it needs help from professionals. Plus, the fox was left alone. So how can I be sure you two are responsible enough to even take care of such an exotic pet?" The women asked.
"But Yuna was home." [Y/N] said before Yuna shook her head.
"No, I wasn't. I needed to go to the store to get something and left him home with grandpa. But I took longer than expected and grandpa left to go to his job." Yuna said as she looked down.
"Like I said, the fox was left alone and animals like these need to be taken care of, especially since this little guy is still young." She said.
"How much do we have to pay you." [Y/N] said. The boy was getting desperate to where he'd go as far as to spend money, which he didn't like resorting to.
"Nothing because you're not going to bribe me. I make enough money as a doctor." She said before she picked up the cage the fox was in.
"I'll be going now. Have a nice day." She said as she walked towards the door. The fox cried as she walked it out which made [Y/N] clench his fists.
"I'm sorry [Y/N]. I should have stayed home instead of going to the store." Yuna said as she rubbed his back.
"No it isn't your fault. It looks like she was going to take him away regardless if anyone was home or not..." [Y/N] said before Yuna frowned and nodded
"Get some rest alright? You have school tomorrow plus you must be exhausted from hanging out with those guys." Yuna smiled before she got up and walked to her room. [Y/N] got up from the couch and walked to the bathroom to take a shower.
After his shower, he walked to his room and changed in his sleeping clothes before he looked at his bed. Usually the fox would be sitting on the bed waiting for him but not seeing the fox saddened [Y/N].
