Chapter One: Nothing Left To Loose

Hi, my name is Marinette Dupan-Cheng I was always secretly but also not so secretly in love with Adrien Agreste. He's a model and a good person. I don't know how to tell him my feelings so I ended up being too late. He got with Kagami and I didn't want to ruin his happiness so I got with Luka. I thought I could get over Adrien but I just can't. I don't know how to tell him that I am in love with him when we are both dating other people. I really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I want to be with Adrien. Ughhh life is so unfair.

I have been in love with Adrien for a couple of years now. Only a few people know how I feel about him. I want to tell him but I am always too scared of rejection. I don't want to loose him as a friend either. She for sure loves Adrien. I put on a fake smile and got ready for school. Not wanting to go really.

Hi, my name is Adrien Agreste. I am a model for my dad's fashion line. I have a couple of friends Marinette, Ayla, and my best friend Nino. They have been awesome to me since I have arrived here. They are the kindest people I have ever met. I think that I am crushing on Mari but I don't know. I shouldn't I have my girlfriend Kagami. But Kagami looks like Marinette.

I don't know what to do. Maybe Nino knows something that I don't. Oh I am also he partner to an amazing girl named Ladybug. I swear she's perfect nothing scares her and she always gets the job done. She is just so amazing. But then there is Mari she always knows what to say. She just smiled and my world lit up. I think I just want to believe that Kagami is Marienette but deep down I know she is not.

The next day. Marinette was approaching Adrien she wanted to tell him how she truly felt. At this point, she didn't care if she was rejected as long as he knew. The only thing she hoped is if he did reject her that she would still remain friends with him as he is dear to her heart. She really didn't want to lose him.

"Hey Adrien, I am so sorry and I know you probably don't feel the same but I promised myself that I would tell you how I feel. How I truly feel. I have had a crush on you since the moment you showed me that not all pretty faces are rude. All I have wanted since that day was to be with you. I am so sorry I just couldn't hold this in anymore." Marinette said with a small smile as her head dropped down awaiting his reply.

"Marinette, I don't know what to say. I am sorry but you know I am with Kagami." Adrien said as he placed a hand on her shoulder. That's not what he really wanted to say. He wanted to be with her but knew he would have to hide it. Deep down he knew he had just crushed the heck out of one of his closest friends.

"It's fine I understand. I mean why would a model want to be with the daughter of a baker anyway?" Marinette asked as she ran away. She did this so she wouldn't be seen by a lot of people. She had it to the steps of the school entrance before she collapsed and got akumatized. She would now be known as Lady Sadness. Her power would be to spread the hurt of her heart brake to others.

Adrien would run after her and see her transform her outfit just like ladybugs only in different colors. She was like an Anti Bug. He knew just what he had to do. He quickly went behind the school and transformed. He would then approach Lady Sadness. Around her were a couple of people who seemed to be sad. "Well, well what do we have here?" Chat Noir asked as he approached her. "Did someone break your heart?" He joked as he had a smirk on his face.

"My name is Lady Sadness. Too bad your partner won't make it. Now if you will excuse me I am off to find Adrien Agreste." LS said as she swung off on her yo-yo. She went right to his house.

Chat Noir was quick to follow. He wanted to know who it was. He knew the girl behind the mask was Ladybug and it killed him that he didn't know. He had always wanted to know who the lady behind the mask was.

The moth would disappear and the identity was revealed. Ladybug is Marienette, Marienette is Ladybug.  She would look around and try to figure out what happened. She turned around to see Chat Noir and waved at him. "Hey, would you be able to drop me off at home. Just not in the right mood to go to school you know?" She asked with a kind smile.

"Sure, I understand also you should try to talk to him or at least hear him out. Maybe he does like you back and was scared of you faking your feelings. " Chat Noir said as he picked her up and tried his best together back to her house safely. He would drop her off at her balcony. 

"Thank you for the advice, Kitty. I have to get inside. You should head back to your alley." Marinette said with a smile. She then waved goodbye and went inside.

Meanwhile, at school, Kagami was waiting for Adrien. When she saw him walk up to the door she just looked mad that he was.

"I know about your little crush on ladybug. I just wanted to let you know that I am her." Kagami said with a smile. She then would try and kiss his cheek.

"I am sorry Kagami but I know who the true Ladybug is and it ain't you." Adrien said as he walked into the school building and straight to class.
