This is like a soap opera with before marriage and after marriage life. I mean can't call it a soap opera as well I mean Not like a normal story...
I was sleeping peacefully in my hotel bedroom to wake up at the sweet sound of birds chittering. I stretched my arms and sat up. I went and opened the curtains to see a beautiful view of Dubai. Opening the door I went and stood in the veranda. I could possibly see everyone's veranda. I looked at my left to see a guy standing in the veranda which was just 2 feet away looking at the view wearing a delhi capitals jersey. Maybe he is a Fan after all. He looked very familiar. Birds started chirping sitting in my veranda. I was admiring them when i Got a call from my friend. I took my phone and stood in the veranda.
" Hello anku " I exclaimed and I realized i was a bit to loud. I looked around and Saw that Guy staring at me.
" Guess what? " she exclaimed.
" Indian cricketers are staying in the same hotel as you are " She exclaimed.
" Oh great! So what? You called me for this " I asked sitting in the chair.
" I can't come They are not letting anyone In other than the Indian cricket Team staffs " She said in a dull tone.
" But I am in here " I said confused as If why they had let me in."
" Maybe Because the Doctors and high secretary had booked this hotel You know All the other People where moved to the other part of the hotel You are the only one still there " She said.
" So Is the guys Near my veranda a cricketer? " I asked her.
" Of course! " She said
" He is wearing Delhi capitals Jersey " I said
" What did he look like? " She asked
" I am still in the veranda as well as him and it's just 2 feet away and I don't want him hearing Me describing him " I grunted.
" He has a Styled beard and a spiked up hair and He is I guess 5"10 inches tall " I said
" I know who it is? " She said in a melting voice and hung the call. Such a weirdo. I hung the call and saw that guy staring at me. I ignored him and walked into my room.
I went and took a quick bath. I wore my black pants and a light blue tops. I braided my hair properly and went outside to dry my washed clothes. That guy still stood there staring at my veranda. I hung it in the dryer and closed the door.
I took my bag and closed my room door.
I saw the indian batsman standing in the corridor with their Delhi capitals outfit and some in RCB uniforms Then I found that most of the teams where in this hotel but in different parts of it. The guys near my room came out right the next second. The whole corridor was filled with guys which was quiet embarrassing to walk on. I just sped up and Most of them where staring at me. I entered the elevator but some of the guys stopped it and entered the elevator. I left a deep sigh and waited for the elevator to open. Those guys where staring at me making me uncomfortable.
As soon as the lift door opened I dashed out and waited infront of the hotel for a cab. The IPL team bus stood there to collect their players. I stood there for a very long time.
" Hi! Shall I drop you? " a guy asked me.
" Idiot! It's getting late " Another whacked him.
" No thanks " I said and he shrugged his arms and entered the team bus. I quickly called ritu.
" Ritu Why is the cab not arrived yet? " I asked
" It is stuck behind the IPL team buses " She said. I quickly walked past the buses and sat inside the car. The driver drove me to the hospital I walked inside and went to my cabin. I had a presentations to present and I was really nervous as it was a competition.
" Hello! Ready to loose " Rohan asked.
" Oh! Not yet Don't be too confident " I said
" Just kidding, Don't be too nervous, You will be fine " He said and Left. I got ready and took my papers. We went to the presentation hall where me and my few friends and Workmates sat along with rohan. Everyone gave their presentation. at the end It was me. I went and stood up infront of everyone. Everyone showed me thumbs up. I gathered my courage and started explaining. It took me a while to get the nervousness out.
" And That's the end " I said and everyone clapped their hands.
" that was Impressive Arina " The doctors said. I went and sat back. The doctor stood up to announce the winners.
" So One of the employee Impressed me a lot and Their idea was great Arina chawla, You did a great job " He said and I was really happy but didn't show it of.
Rohan got the 2nd place while Sarthak got the 3rd. The meeting completed and I went back to my cabin.
" Congrats Arina " rohan said giving me a side hug.
" Thanks Rohan Congrats to you too " I said.
" I know you would Do great " He said
" Thanks for the advice " I bumped my fist with his.
