Chapter 6

Emma's POV

Zane picked me up bridal style and placed me in his car.

"Oh no I am wetting your car seats, " I said.

" Don't worry about it, after all it is just a car,"

"An expensive car," I mumbled.

Zane snickered at this.

Some minutes later of awkward silence we finally arrived at my house.

"Bye, " I said in jumping out the car.

"Wai-"  he called after me.

Too late.......... I fell right on my butt. So forgot about my ankle. I think I heard something snap in their too.

Zane, once again........... my knight in shining armor rushed to my assistance lifting me up.

"Put me down! I can walk you know!" I shouted hitting his chest.

"Right......... cause you proved that perfectly awhile ago when you fell flat on your ass, " he said with heavy sarcasm.

"If it wasn't for you I would have a sprain in the first place," I said shooting daggers through his head.

He kept silent.

"What no smart ass come back?"

He rang the door bell ignoring me.  My brother answered holding a bowl of cereal.

"Crap!" he said talking me from Zane and dropping the bowl. He gently rested me in the couch.  "What the heck happened?"

"She sprained her ankle," Zane said.

Alec snapped around just noticing Zane.

"And who are you?"

"I am Zane, I took Emma home, " he said.

"Wait, your Zane Riley as in.............. Zane Riley the school new quarter back?" Alec asked.

"The one and only, " Zane said.

Wait isn't Dylan quarter back?

"Yeah but Zane is the new quarter back,"  Alec said.

Oh, I said aloud.

"It is so good to meet the school's legendary quarter back. I have heard so much about you, " Zane said

"Suck up much?" I asked.

"Oh ignore her, she is a pain some, " Alec said.

"And you are an ass,sometimes "

"Don't hate me cause I am beautiful, " he sang.

"Right like I would be jealous of your hideousness,"  I said.

"I know you know I am the cuter of the two of us, " Alec said playfully whipping his hair.

"I don't know I will have to disagree,"

a familiar voice said.

Lucas.

"Some best friend you are," my brother said.

Lucas has been Alec's best friend since like forever.

"Hey Emm-  What the heck happened to you? You look like a walking zombie, "

"Thanks I didn't notice," I said with sarcasm.

"Anything for you," he said giving me a friendly peck on the cheek. "No offense, but if you continue looking like that I am gonna have to agree with Alec and say he is cuter than you,"

"Jerk," I said

At this point you would think that Lucas and I like each other but no......... Lucas is like my other brother.

"So I would love to stay and watch this little family thing you guys jabs but I have to leave, " Zane said.

Lucas snapped around in Zane's direction just noticing him.

"And who is this?"

"This is Zane, the school's new quarter back, "

"Oh nice to meet you man,"  Lucas said. 

"Yeah you too," Zane said.

"Anyways lads gotta go, " Zane said leaving.

Thank God! I don't think I could deal with another moment of Zane freaking Riley especially when I look like this.

" I like him," Zane said.

Lucas agreed with him.

Ugh
-Boys.

"So guys why aren't you at college? " I asked.

" I called in sick, " Lucas said.

"My car broke down,"  Alec said.

Ugh
-Boys.

"So when is mom coming home? My ankle is killing me, "

"In about an hour or two,"  Alec said.

Our mom is a nurse.

Emma's house was...ah...entertaining.

Her brother and her are weird but it is cute. With their bickering and arguing. But I don't like the Lucas guy. He was all over Em.
I guess your wondering why should I care? What if Lucas and her are a thing? I shouldn't care. I hate her.
Well I don't or not anymore. She is so cute and nice and sweet and hot and-
What am I doing? I can't like this girl! She hates me and plus I am Mr. Bad Boy I play girls and use them for pleasure I can't let this girl get to me.

"Alec is that you? Can you help me with the groceries?!" my mom shouted interrupting my thoughts.

"Coming mom," I said walking top the kitchen.
