Peter knocked on the front door, he'd been at the Stilinski several other times, right after the Riders incident where he met Stiles' father. Stiles' father had thanked him for helping to save his son's life. He knew he was finally a welcome member of this social group, but he never pushed polite boundaries anymore since the hunt. Noah rushed to answer the door, he quickly smiled when he knew who it was.

"Peter Hale, I told you you never had to knock at our door, you were always welcome and I even told you where we hid the key." Peter just looked at him and smiled.

"Of course Sheriff Stilinski, but you know I would never just enter your house unless there were provocation by an emergency." He gave Noah his most charming smile. Noah turned and walked to the stairs leading up to Stiles room. He remembered the last Stilinski home, it was all on one level, but now it is a by level home with three levels.

"And Sheriff you gave me permission at your old home, I'm not a Vampire. Honestly a wolf should never enter another's new den without an invite." Noah looked at Peter for a brief few seconds, scanning his eyes for sincerity and found it.

"Peter you are a important part of the weird ass team, of course you are always welcome." he looked at the last door down the hall. Peter smiled and gave a polite nod, his mind soon wondered back to his nephew, then it hit him, the sheriff had a way of calming Peter down, and he turned to look at him in realization. The sheriff looked at him as Peter stared.

"Stiles hasn't left his side all day Peter, I'm hoping you can convince him to get some sleep while your here." Peter understood quite reverently the power of the bond that had been formed between his nephew and the oldest Stilinski boy.

"Your son used to be a thorn in Derek's side, but when Stiles left to serve our country, well lets just say poor Derek almost lost his mind, he lost his sparring partner, and Sheriff to be honest, his best friend. When Stiles was gone Derek had no focus, but neither did Scott. Stiles was strangely the glue that held together every person in that weird little group. That kid is literally the only human or supernatural to get away with challenging Derek as much as he does. And the fact that they are complete polar opposites makes their friendship fun."

     ----    ____    ----    ____    ----

Stiles sat and was able to hear what his father and Peter were saying. He could since there was not a single bit of mistrust between the two of them. Years ago his dad would have loved to see both of the Hale's men locked away. Now his father looks at Derek like he does Scott if not more. And his friendship with Peter Hale is beyond comprehensible, but he was glad his father had these two men as friends. He was also happy to hear Derek actually cared about him, and even though Derek never said it, they were friends. Now he was more determined to help the Sour Wolf return from where ever he was.

     ----    ____    ----    _____    ----

Derek looked around the room, he slowly stood up and looked at his foot, the bear trap was gone. The pain it caused was still very unbearable. though now without his foot being trapped, he started to limp his way throw the sparsely lit room. He approached the door and realized he was in some kind of factory. There were tubes going in and out of the walls. Some of the tubes had minute holes that allowed steam to come out causing the hallway he was headed into to be very hot and damp also the halls were lit quite brightly almost blindingly with white light. As he walked further, he could feel the overwhelming sensation of being watched. He pushed that feeling to the back of his mind so he could be ready for any surprises.
