Monica, S.W.O.R.D, and Wanda parted their ways after the incident with the hex at West View.
After everything that happened Monica had other things to do in mind.
After experiencing that trauma it was reasonable if Monica just wanted to go home and sleep it off. She turned at Jimmy and Darcy
"Okay crash at your Darcy, we got some things to do," Monica said walking to the door as she opens the driver's door and looked over the door, and gave Darcy that look 'Sorry'
Monica and Jimmy were at Darcy's house talking together about S.W.O.R.D and what happened, everyone was tired, confused but the worst of it all was Monicas racing mind, and Jimmy and Darcys confused. While having the discussion Jimmy asked Monica about her powers
"What happened in the Hex" Jimmy said
"I'm not sure, when I went into the hex I felt pulled back as I was walking," Monica said struggling to describe it, it was an unsettling feeling like a hard press on your chest while facing through cement, it hurt but Monica was determined...and changed.
"That would make sense since no one was supposed to go in..." Jimmy said holding on a long pause, making a 'sorry about what happened but,' i told you so' look to her.
"or out, "Said, Darcy pretty unfazed as she knew it was better to hide her feelings than show it to the group and make them more stressed.
there was a long pause as Darcy got up and made some coffee for each other.
"I was phasing through different timelines and outfits and when I was in the hex, I saw many colors... as the energy "Monica said
Darcy soon came back and put the 3 jugs on the try on the table.
They stood in silence until Monica came up with an idea
"What if I went to Wakanda, if I could get in touch with Shuri she can help "Said Monica
Darcy unsure "Maybe you should rest, no point of biting more than you can chew.. wait and settled"
Monica said "The more we do, the more I put people in danger, its better if I find out now than making more risk"
Darcy and Jimmy looked at each other and at Monica in sync "Okay, but you owe me a lot" Said Darcy as Monica thanked them
"Alright we can get you there, let's get to it," said Jimmy as he already started getting as Darcy showed the way to her workplace.
2 days later
[ Monica and her crew got in touch with Shuri, Shuri decided to help as she quoted Monica's situation was quite interesting [In Shuri's workplace]
"Okay Monica, I took a sample of your DNA, seems like your DNA was re-written by Wanda's Hex "Said Shuri
"So, it Wanda's Powers into me, "Monica said confused
"No not quite, you always had the powers, your power is energy so when you went through the hex, the energy from the Hex Charged your powers up "Said Shuri
"Can I test my powers "Said Monica
"Absolutely, let me just...get something"
Shuri walked around the room look for something, she found a gadget and walked up to Monica
"What does that do? "Said, Monica
"The Gadget blasts out energy, what I'm going to do is blast the energy onto you"
Monica stepped back "Okay now"
"No, let's get you in somewhere clear" Shuri walked Monica downstairs into an empty training place "Here so you don't ruin anything"
"Okay stand back while I blast this "Said Shuri while Monica took a couple of steps back
"I'm ready "Said Monica confidently
Shuri Blasted the energy gadget on Monica, Monica's eyes glowed blue and the golden ora started to show around her arms turning the steps of her hair glowing gold.
Monica pushed her hands out and destruction followed, the whole room was covered with transparent gold energy.
The whole room went solo and pulling Monica's hand back to her it broke like glass onto the floor, Monica cleared her eyesight.
