I slid into my advisory room. The usual group was on the left to the middle of the classroom, talking obnoxiously loud. I could complain but If I had a group of good friends in a class, I did usually end up making that group myself. But not in this class. I always walked in the right front corner where it was quiet save for a few ROTC boys talking, and sat next to my friend aChuck, the only friend Dean and Dad ever liked so much they invited him over personally. He looked up at me from his phone as soon as I sat down.

"There you are. I was just about to text you." He slid his phone away.

"Sam was lazy. I wish I could've made it earlier. But hey, we have a few minutes to really talk." Before I could open my mouth I was cut out by the monotone tone of the bell ringing, making me get red in the face. "Ok maybe this needs to wait until tomorrow then..". I looked at Chuck who just shook his head, trying to hold smile back.

The rest of the class went on slowly,it was the whole "Started from the bottom" bull crap we heard last year but with a few words changed around for the Senior class. Chuck and I, like most of the others, didn't listen this time around. We had heard it so much we were even murmuring some of the lines to each other, making one of us smirk or make a humming laugh. The lecture went on for an hour and once it ended we all began to lighten up a lot more than before. We were handed our schedules straight after since we were pressed on time by now.

Chuck nervously peered at his and rubbed his forehead, groaning. I was immediately nervous for some reason to look at the blue piece of paper in my hand, but I did it anyway, my hear pounding in my ears.

It wasn't as bad as anticipated. I had only one bad class of Pre-Cal this year with Mr.Gray, but it was better to get it over with now. I looked to Chuck who was still seemingly disappointed and I couldn't help but feel bad for him while secretly thanking God it wasn't me groaning in despair this year.

The bell rang and Chuck and I had to get up and say our goodbyes with a shoulder hug before we had to run off. My first class was an easy one, just Bible History.

I walked in with a few others behind me, and sat down in a front seat, looking at the teacher, Mr.Donald, who was on his computer like most teachers were right now. I made myself familiar with his classroom and who sat where when I realized I didn't know anyone in this class. It was mostly the people who's names you knew just never once spoke to- the ones you liked but just never felt ok to talk to- and the rest was just a pile of freshman either talking to people they already knew or looking around awkwardly. It was cute in a strange way and made my heart warm to know that some of these kids would grow up and be some semblance of mature.

The bell sounded off once again, that's when he walked in. He didn't have to say a word, all eyes were on him.

Allow me to get poetic for a second. His hair was like the glow around the sun mixed with a few small streaks of Earth, his eyes were as deep blue as the purest form of ocean, and his skin was a pale and tan at the same time, like mostly milk in cup of coffee. He looked like a son of Apollo. So in other words,he was....pretty. He furrowed his brows and gulped as he opened his mouth to speak, but sadly Mr.Donald beat him to it.

"Oh yes!" The balding man said as he stood "Class, this young man is new here,as I suspect some of you others are. He moved from the East. What did you say your name was again, son?". He spoke in a deep, gravelly voice I never suspected would come from him.

"Castiel".
