It was the year after summer and the Weasleys, Harry and Hermione were sat having a light dinner in the back garden. The sun was setting and the sky glittered with barely noticeable stars. The Lovegoods house was just a silhouette on the hill and the grass was glittering with the ray of the setting sun. All was calm as the large family proceeded to devour the glorious meal.

After the war things had heated up and then calmed down and for that Harry was thankful. He was no longer nagged at or harassed for interviews, nor though was he left completely alone. He was still the saviour. After the final battle Harry had gone for a walk to escape the crowds of cheering people and that walk changed his life.

*flashback*

Harry was tired. No scrap that he was absolutely exhausted. The crowd was still cheering for their saviour but he was too tired for the hassle. He made an excuse of needing the bathroom and quickly ran from the room. He was now walking around the outside of Hogwarts near to the black lake where two people stood in a warm embrace. As he drew nearer the figures started to take recognisable forms. Ginny and Neville were wrapped up in each others arms and the sight made a smile grace his lips.

"Hey! You two! What are you doing out here?" He shouted and the two jumped so far apart that it was pure luck that Neville didn't end up in the lake.

"H-H-Harry i-it's not w-what i-i-it loo-oks l-like." Neville stuttered. His unease made Harry smile.

"Well it obviously is." Harry said in a threatening manner. And Neville and Ginny cowered back. "Congratulations!" He shouted completely knocking the couple off balance. They looked at Harry, then back at each other and back again.

"What! I thought you would be mad. But of course I am glad you aren't. Could you maybe keep this between us though because we don't want everyone to know." Ginny said growing pleading towards the end. Harry once again smiled at the pair.

"Of course I can. It is your secret to tell anyway so why would I?" They all shrugged simultaneously and then burst out laughing.

"What's going on out here?" A well known voice asked from the shadows of the forest. Neville and Ginny both jumped in surprise while Harry turned around and grabbed the waist of the girl while whispering in her ear. "Like you don't already know." All he received was a wolffish grin and a peck in the lips.

"And what's going on here?" Ginny asked while gesturing to the couple.

"Well me and Harry were sat talking in the tent on one of the nights Ron wasn't there and we ended up dancing. It all kind of escalated from there and before we knew it we were kissing." She finished while smiling.

"I'll take it Ron doesn't know then?" Neville said while raising his eyebrow. The couple shook their heads no and then proceeded to ask them for their secrecy which the other pair readily agreed on.

*end of flashback*

Since then the two couples had kept their secrets and their words. The end of the meal was nearing as Ron stood up gaining the attention of everyone there. He took hermione's hand and pulled her up too. She shared a look with Harry and they both blanked their faces becoming void of emotion.

"We have an announcement to make." Ron began which caused a small growl to erupt from Harry's throat. Silently Ginny put her hands on his and rubbed them in a comforting manner. "Me and hermione are getting married!" This was met with a joyful exclaim from mrs Weasley, a clap from his brothers and a fully fledged growl from Harry. This noise silenced everyone as they turned to see a shaking Harry.

"Harry dear, what's the matter?" Mrs Weasley asked in concern.

"What isn't the matter would have a shorter answer mrs Weasley." He returned as knowing glances were shared between Ginny, fleur, bill, Charlie and George. They could sense the love between their adopted sister and brother even if Ron could not.

"Just tell us please. You will feel better afterwards." She tried again. This gave her a low chuckle from Harry. The chuckle was far scarier than any dark lord as it was full and empty of all emotion at the same time.

"Only the fact that Ron here is trying to marry my wife." This statement was the Queue for most people at the dinner gasp in shock as a wave of fury crossed rons features.

"She is not your wife! Where is the ring? When was the wedding? Why were we not informed? When did you two get together? What else have you kept from me!" He screamed as hermione nodded at Harry, she disappeared using a port key to their home. Ron didn't notice.

"She is. It is dissalusioned (can't spell that sorry) on her finger. It was last winter. Because you would act like this and we both knew it. On the horcrux hunt when you ran away. Many things that will not be revealed at the present moment. Harry finished as he got his anger in check. "I shall be leaving now to go and see my wife. If you need me Ginny you know where to go." He said before starting to walk away. A curse from Ron's wand came whizzing towards Harry but he side stepped it just in time.

"I would suggest not hexing me otherwise you will never see us again. Clear?" He asked before walking away and apperating.

•Well the could have gone worse.• He thought before he walked the remaining steps to his crying wife.

The end.
