"Hurry up Ella!" A male voice echoes through the woods.
"I'm coming!" Another voice answers, this one a girl. The source of the second voice pushes through the bushes and emerges into a clearing. The girls black hair shimmering in the mid day sun.
"Where are you flash?" She calls.
"Right behind you." The male voice calls again. Ella, the girl, turns around and sees a red fox.
"It's easier for you to hide if your like that. Not fair." The girl grumbles.
"I thought you were 15? You sure aren't acting like it." The fox teases. The girl the girl looks away at a bluejay sitting on a branch.
"Hello Toby." She waved and the bluejay nodded before flying away. The girl then turned back to the fox to find a red haired boy with amber eyes.
"There. Now is it fair?" He smirked.
A loud bang interrupted their conversation.
"What was that?" The boy, flash, asked.
"I don't know..." Ella replied. They crept towards the stream where the sound came from. Flash turned into a fox again and hid in the shadows, getting closer.
"I don't see anything...." He whispered.
"Help!" Someone called from a shadow under a big tree. J
