Re:ZERO x Sung Jin Woo

The village

(Intro just to take up some space)

Jin Woo dashed to the village at a speed surpassing that of light.

In less than a blink of an eye, he appeared right behind the villager that didn't notice him at all.

He grabbed his shoulder from the back to make his presence known.

The poor villager jumped in surprise, but then calmed down when he saw the somewhat familiar face.

-Ahhh.....oh it's you sir.

-Yeah, you remember me right. I noticed some commotion here and came to see whats going on.

-The kids, they're nowhere to be found! I suspect they went inside the forest since there were footprints going outside the village and the barrier that protects us from mabeasts has been broken. We need help!!

Said the villager in a panicked tone.

Jin Woo was angry with himself. He knew he should have hidden some shadow soldiers in the children's shadows, but at the time he thought such lengths were unnecessary, especially when he ran the risk of his lengths is revealed. 

He didn't really want that because he thought it would cause too much commotion and that people would start to try to use him for their own gain.

But he now understood that that was a mistake.

He had no time to waste. Just as he was about to run towards the direction the guy was pointing and order a search party out of shadow soldiers to search for the missing children, he heard a voice that interrupted him.

-Jin Woo-sama, please wait. What's going on here?

-What...Rem what are you doing here??

She was still breathing heavily from the long way she had to run to get to the village.

-I was looking for you at the mansion but I couldn'tt find a trace. I got worried, but when I looked out the window I noticed a moving light from a torch coming from the village, so I figured you would be here. What's all the commotion about??

She asked in a worried tone.

The villager replied immediately

-The barrier has been broken and the children are out in the forest!! We need help!!

Rem seemed shocked but Jin Woo had no time to waste. He ordered Beru and Igris to each get 20 of their soldiers and look for the children in the forest.

That moment Jin Woo's shadow expanded a few meters behind his back. Bullet fast smaller shadows got out of it going towards the forest.

Rem and the villager were beyond confused at what had transpired. As soon as she was about to ask, Jin Woo interrupted her not allowing her to speak

-There is no time! I'll explain later. I need to go look for them now! And you there, notify the other villagers.

As Jin Woo was about to dash away his hand was grabbed by Rem trying to stop him.

-You can't go in there alone, it's really dangerous!!

Woo looked at Rem's worried face and then smiled

-It's ok, whatever  is inside that forest won't be able to do much to me

-At least let me come with you.
