I was running down the sidewalk, tears streaming. I couldn't take this anymore. Every single time, I get used. It's not fair.
I stopped running and collapsed onto the hard ground. I continued sobbing, as I felt a warm hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw a familiar blond with blue eyes.
"Jenna? What happened?" He asked worried, wrapping his long arms around me.
"Again Niall. Again." I sobbed as I heard him sigh.
"Jen, you have to stop letting people step all over you. To stop using you. " he said rubbing my back.
"D-Do you think I'm weak, NIall?" I asked looking up at him.
He sighed again. "No Jen, I don't. You have to be more careful with people you meet.."
"What about you?"
"You just got lucky." He grinned. I grinned back.
Did you ever have a moment that you just burst into tears and that one friend who just calms you immediately? That's what I'm feeling right now. Niall is my rock. He keeps me safe and helps me with my problems.
"C'mon, I'll drop you home." he said taking his hand out for me. I grabbed it and he pulled me up. I didn't even have to move myself. He says I'm a feather.
Yeah sure. I'm clearly aware that I dont have fur.
We walked down the sidewalk in silence.
I brushed my bangs out of my face and sighed. "Niall, why do guys think they can do what they want. Don't they know that just because they're happy, the girls they used aren't."
"Well, I don't know how to answer that since I'm not like that. But I am a guy. Jen-" He took a slght pause before continuing. "-some boys are like that but that doesn't mean all are. I mean, look at me."
"I know but-"
I was interrupted as Niall gently placed his lips against mine. I was shocked, he had feelings for me?
He pulled back after a few second and leaned his forehead against mine. "I love you, Jenna."
