I was the kid that didn't have a kart in the family, I was ok with that I wasn't always affected by it. I was able to run around at the track and not worry about getting to the grid for races. In the time between having 1-2karts we were in between 2 different tracks. I still remember a day where it was so hot and the first track that baby birds were to the point of dying it was so hot and there mom wouldn't come back to them to get them water. The memory of helping them with always be something I remember as someone who loves animals.
I still remember that track as the first one we went to but due to certain reasons we don't go to that track anymore and it's not necessarily used as often as other tracks. One day we found the track we call our "home track". We have since then gone to this track and we enjoy it. When we first came to this track we had 2 karts... we didn't have a trailer that could haul all the things we needed... we were able to fit everything for a year or 2. After that my dad started working at different places so we could afford all the things we have for racing. After my dad worked for so long we were able to get a toy Hauler that we still use.
At this point I was debating asking if I was able to get my own kart... I never did because I felt it was rude asking for more than I already had, so instead I asked my dad if I could drive my brothers... after I asked I was able to go out on the track after races and eventually I got to race once to see what it was like. I feel I love with being out on the track for the freedom you had... you can just forget about all the issues you have. A year or so after this racing season I was at the lowest point in my life and it got difficult.. I would always dream about having my own kart.
