The lone swan

Part 1

Ever since the first grade, you and kenma had been best friends. you remember it like it was yesterday, it was recess and you were on the swings.

While you were swinging you notice a small boy all alone playing with pokemon cards. You were nervous about approaching him but decided that it couldn't hurt to talk to him. You got up off the swing and made your way over there. You said ," Hey! My name is y/n! whats yours?" You heard him mumble some words under his breath. "Could you speak up please I can't really hear you." "Its kenma.. kenma kozume." " Oh. I really like that name!" you still remember the small laugh he let out... so pure.

Recess was over faster than you ever thought it could be. That day was the start of a new friendship. You couldn't wait for tomorrow, so as soon as u got home you ate dinner, brushed your teeth, and fell asleep. You were just so excited to see your new friend!

When you woke up you got on the outfit your mom had picked out for you the day before and then you ate, brushed your teeth, did your hair and said goodbye to your mom as you made your way to school.

the day seemed to drag on up until recess. you looked for your newfound friend in a crowd of excited little kids. you spotted him under a tree wearing a red bucket hat a cat shirt and some cacky shorts. he was resting under a tree. you rush to him. " HII KENN" you saw him roll his eyes with a slight smile. "Hi y/n," you noticed he looked a bit tired. " did you get enough sleep kenn?" " yea ... I think I did." " oh really, how many hours?" " 3...we met only yesterday and you can already tell when I'm lying. That's impressive!" " I guess it's just a gift" you let out a light laugh. " you have a pretty laugh" you blush " thanks kenma" "would you like to rest on my shoulder for a bit kenn?" "yes please, I would love that!" as he laid on your shoulder you admired his beauty. he truly was a sight for sore eyes.
