WE ARE ON the way home.
I keep my distance to Tay, I don't want to give a motive yet.
I need to clear my feelings.
"New." Gun whispers
"Hmm?"
"Why are you so distant to Tay?"
"I'll tell you later."
Hours past and we're already at my house.
"Thanks Off, thanks guys. See you." I said and left the van.
"Wait, i'll go with New. Pim, get home safely." Gun said
"Mom I'm home." I said tiredly when we entered the house
"Take a rest!" She's in the kitchen I guess.
I entered my room and banged myself into bed.
"Mueng, what happened?" Gun uttered and lay down beside me
"Tay confessed."
"Mm, I know. We are there."
"What's on your mind?" He asked
"I don't know..."
"But I felt happy that time." I said
"Maybe you like him."
I sighed, "I don't know. I need to figure it out."
"Mm, it takes time. No need to hurry." He said and get up
"But, don't you think it's kinda weird?" He hit my head
"Are you crazy?! Do you think me and Off are weird?" He hissed
"No..."
"You're cute." I said
He sighed, "New, you don't need to hurry. Take your time. Love is not a joke."
"I know."
"Just follow your heart, mueng. Love is right. If you love each other, you will feel right even though in the eyes of others it's wrong." He said and tap my shoulder
"Thanks mueng."
"No problem. I need to go home. I need to get some sleep."
"Okay, get home safely."
When Gun left my room, I sighed loudly.
'I can't help falling in love with you.'
'I like you New...'
'No...'
'I love you...'
Tay's word keeps lingering on my mind.
What to do?
A minute later, I fell asleep.
"New? New." I feel a hand tapping my face gently
"Son, wake up."
I slowly opened my eyes and saw my mom.
"It's dinner time." She said
I nodded and get up, "I'll fix myself first, mom."
She nodded and left.
When I'm done fixing myself, I go downstairs and run over the kitchen.
"Mommyyyy!" I said and hug my mom
"Mm, what do you want?" She said and pinch my tummy
I sat down and started to eat.
"Where is daddy?" I asked
She sighed, "He's sleeping. He's tired from work, he ate first."
I nodded, "Ma..."
"Hmm? Just spill it."
