One Wild Ride (Harry Styles)

Chapter 1

~ Bethany's POV ~

"I WANNA STAY UP ALL NIGHT AND JUMP AROUND UNTIL WE SEE THE SUN!!!!!" I joyously sang into a hairbrush. Sang? More like screeched.

Graduation. Graduation was a good thing. It meant that I no longer had school. Well, until I decided on a college. It meant that I could spend my time doing what I love most; obsessing over One Direction.

Yes, I'm a Directioner. As all fangirls do, I have summed up perfect scenarios where I marry each and every member of One Direction. Harry seems to appear a bit more often than the rest though. Those green eyes, curly hair, and dimples seem to set a spell on me.

I had my whole life to look forward to, yet I chose this over everything in the world.

I lived in Lafayette, Indiana. Small town. It was hard to get noticed by a certain curly haired boy when he has never even been to your state.

"I WANNA STAY UP ALL NIGHT AND FIND A GIRL AND TELL HER SHE'S THE ONE!!!!!"  I screeched on. I was enjoying myself and my horrible singing when I got an incoming call.

I hit accept.

"HEY GIRL HEY!!!!" I screamed into the phone.

"HEY GIRL HEY!!!!!" Carla screamed back. I still had "Up All Night" on at full blast so I decided to turn it off.

Carla was, and has been my best friend for six years. I felt like I could tell her anything.

"Okk, so what is your summer calling you to do? What major plans do you have?!" Carla excitedly asked.

"Ermmm... I don't know..." I awkwardly said. To be honest I haven't thought about anything

"Well, you have to do something!!!" Carla exclaimed. "I mean, you just graduated!! You could do anything!!!"

I stayed silent for a moment. "I want to meet One Direction." I blurted out.

"Honey, good luck with that." Carla simply said.

"I'm not joking Carla!! I have been obsessing over them for what feels like forever!!! I now have all the time in the world!!! I don't think you realize how much this means to me..." I said.

"Well, Bethany good luck. I got to go, bye!!! Love you!!" Carla said.

"Love you to." I said before hanging up.

I don't care what anyone says. This summer is going to be the summer I meet my idols. It may be this week, who knows? But I am going to...

Maybe I will even find my true love? Maybe I can kill two birds with one stone and meet my idols and true love in the same visit...? Whoever my true love is, I hope we will be able to mess around with eachother. I hope we will be able to have a laugh. I hope he is hot.

Who am I kidding? I will never find someone who loves me for me. I guess I will spend the rest of my life alone. Sitting at my computer. Crying because of how beautiful Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles are.

Wow. I'm crazier than I thought.

Whoever my guy is, he better come fast.

~ Harry's POV ~

"Danielle!!! Liam!!! Stop!!!" I whined. Danielle and Liam have been making out on my couch for at least 10 minutes now. "I thought we were going to watch a movie!!"

"Well, we are mate. But , we just chose not to pay attention." Liam simply said.

I invited Liam over to my flat to watch some movies. He had Danielle with him, so both of them came. Long story short, I now feel like the third wheel at my own house.

"Why don't I just head over to Louis's..." I said.

Liam waved his hand at me in response.

I walked out my front door and crossed the street to Louis's flat. I knocked on the door.

"MY GOD ITS ABOUT TIME-" Niall looked at me with wide eyes. "Oh. I thought you were the pizza guy." He said with a disappointed look.

"Well, it seems like nobody wants me around." I hadn't realzied I had said my thought out loud until I heard Louis scream.

"I DO YOU CURLY HAIRED SEXY BEAST!!!" Louis screeched jumping on me.

"Thanks Lou.'' I quietly said.

"Why woudn't anyone want you?" Louis said looking sad.

"Liam and Dani are over and they kinda ignored me then Niall looked disapponted when I showed up..." I said.

"Aww, just ignore them!!! You will always have me until we get you your girl!!!" Louis happily said.

"See thats the thing Lou!!! I will never find somebody!!! Haven't you figured it out yet?!?!?!" I said boiling with anger. "I mean look!!! You have Eleanor, Liam has Danielle, and Zayn has Perrie!!! Niall is perfectly fine being single at the moment so he doesn't count!!! Don't you see? I haven't had a relationship since Caroline!!!"

"Woaaaaah, Curly!! Calm your carrots!! We will find you someone. I promise by the end of the summer you will happily be in a relationship. It may even be this week, who knows?" Louis encouraged.

"Thanks Louis." I doubtfully said.

I was sick of being lonely. I was sick of being the third wheel. Yeah, I know Niall is single too, but everyone loves him! How could you not want that Irish boy around?! I felt like everyone else was 100% happy. They had their girlfriends and One Direction's success.

I had One Direction's success.

I hope Louis is right. I hope I find someone special this summer. I hope it is this week. I hope she will love Harry Styles. Not Harry Styles in One Direction. I hope we will be able to mess around with eachother. I hope we will be able to have a laugh. I hope she is cute.

Whoever my girl is, she better come fast.
