Non ça ne sera pas

- "My daddy told me to say hello. I hope to be able to meet you, my mum tells me a lot about you. In a week I'm celebrating my 7th birthday and I want to invite you to my party. Kisses to you, Morgan Stark ".
- "Is it Tony's daughter who wrote that? I thought she was 4".
- "Tony has a girl. I've been in shock for 7 years".
- "And you are married to me. Nobody believed it and yet I am the wife of James Buchanan Barnes".
I sit on his lap, he hugs me, and I pull out the memory box that is under the table.
- "Soon 7 years of marriage and 12 trips".
Bucky pulls out the postcards we brought back from our trips and spreads them out on the table.
- "Egypt, Spain, Australia, France, Tunisia, Peru, Norway, Japan, India, Cuba, Greece and Madagascar".
- "Do you remember when you fell from the elephant in India?"
- "I didn't even know that my arm could come off so easily".
- "I couldn't even breathe. It was so funny".
- "Ah ah very funny but I preferred the massage which I had the right to return to the hotel".
- "It doesn't surprise me anymore about you".
- "And the trip to Australia. When you had a kangaroo stolen. You were afraid of a kangaroo when you are you." He is laughing.
- "Oh James, he was chasing me. I was scared and you were laughing."
We both laugh and then I put the cards back in our box. I take Morgan's letter and hang it in the fridge. I sit on the couch and Bucky comes over to join me.
- "What do you want to watch?"
- "As you wish. On Morgan's letter there was written to my aunt Chleo and my uncle Bucky."
- "It's normal, we are part of the family even if we have never seen him".
- "I don't want to go. At his party, I know Morgan will be disappointed but now that Steve is gone I ..."
- "Don't say that. Steve joined Peggy. You would have done the same for me. So we'll go to this party."
- "Are we watching Dirty Dancing?" He has a knack for changing the discussion. So I turn on the TV and sit down for the movie. I kiss her and slide into her arms. I hug him so hard that he has trouble breathing. He puts his hand in my hair, I close my eyes little by little. I fall asleep in his arms and wake up in Wakanda. I sit on my bed and look for Bucky but only see the long haired man waving to me. It was all a dream.
