btw the video is the song they were dancing to

Harrys POV

After waiting 3 hours for Gemma to get ready, we left for the party. "I can't believe I actually get to meet the prince!" She squealed

"Don't get too excited, there'll be at least 500 other girls there that he'll be trying to talk to."i responded

"So you don't think I have a chance?" She asked while pouting.

The truth was she probably had no chance with him. We were just a poor family, and on top of all that, she was a daughter of a criminal. To be fair, our father got arrested when she was 2 and i was 5 it's not like he got a chance to make an impact. But everyone in this town seems to think it does. So I responded the best I could. " I think he'd be lucky to have you."

Louis POV

I'd spent hours getting ready. By getting ready I mean having my maids do my hair and put the finishing touches on my clothes. I don't get the point of it all. They're all coming trying to impress me. They couldn't care less what I look like as long and I'm rich and powerful.

"Louis are you ready yet?" I hear my mother call from down the hall. "Your guests should be here in less than an hour, and the decorator needs your opinion on what table cloths he should use."

"I'll be ready in a couple minutes mum."

My maids finally seem to get the idea to hurry up, and I'm out within 5 minutes.

I walked into the ballroom. It was enormous, not that we ever had too many chances to use it. "Oh, we fixed the problem, you can go rest until the party starts."

Harrys POV

As we pulled up to the palace, i couldn't help but wonder how I never noticed how spectacular it was until now. I'd never been, but it's not like I don't pass it At least once a day on my way to work.

There's a security guard that checks us to make sure we have no weapons or anything else we're not supposed to, and then we finally entered. I was in awe of how many people actually showed up for this thing. It seemed like every single teen and woman in London had come. Gemma rushed off the second we got there and I warned her to meet me back her by midnight or I'd leave without her.

After a couple hours of dancing with random girls and eating as much as I could from the buffet I wandered off. I found a little balcony a couple hallways down from the ball room and just gazed out into the city. I heard a voice from behind me. "It's quite nice out here isn't it?'

I turned around to face him, and saw a man with eyes as blue as the sea, a gorgeous smile and the most angelic voice I've ever heard. So this was the prince. He was constantly on tv, but I never payed attention. He just seemed like another one eon those overrated celebrities my site obsessed over, but now that I've actually met him, I was amazed. I wasn't sure what to do. Do I bow or get down on my knees or something? I decide to just listen to him.

"I love the view of the city. Especially at night with all the lights."he continued "It's like when i'm up here nothing can get to me, i'm in my own little world."

"Shouldnt you be with all the girls?" i asked

"I'll have plenty of time for them later" he said.

And with that he took my hand, and spun me around to face him. I blushed. "I don't really know how to dance." My voice trembled with embarrassment.
Louis moved my hand to his shoulder. "That's all right. I'll teach you." He smirked while dropping his hands to my waist.
As the song played, Louis moved his feet, taking the lead. I stepped on his foot a few times, wincing each time, even though he was the one being hurt. Louis didn't get frustrated or upset whatsoever. He just continued to guide me, reminding me to keep my eyes on him, rather than the floor.
"Look at my face, not my feet." He would say.
At the end of the song I heard someone running down the hallway. Louis turned and whispered "call me" and then ran off.

Call him? How was I supposed to do that? I reached in my pocket for my phone when i noticed a little slip of paper. He must have slipped it in there when we were dancing. I grinned and saw my sister running up to me.

" Can we leave now?" she asked.

"We can leave anytime you want i'm the one whose been waiting for you."
