Hidden Crush

Hi I'm Y/N and I've had a crush on my best friend Armin Arlert for a while now and today I feel like telling him... (the Armin for this story is the one from season 4 and so is everyone else unless they're dead. I did this because I wanted to)

Y/N POV
I woke up early today just to see Armin as I recently figured out he wakes up early, I went to his room and opened the door and there he was, reading his book. "Oh- h-hi Y/N" I waved at him "Mind if I chill in here with you?" He put his book down "Of course not, you can chill in here and why would I say no, you're my best friend!" Him saying best friend actually hurt me as I don't want to be his friend I was to be his boyfriend.. "T-thanks." I sat on a chair and it was kinda quiet until he spoke "So uh, why you awake this early?" I shrugged "I just woke up like this" in reality, I woke up for him. "Ah I see, how'd you know I'd be awake?" "It's obvious that someone who goes to sleep as early as you would wake up super early anyway." He nodded "True." I really wanted to kiss him... wait, he has no shirt on- "Wh-wher- where is your sh-shirt..?" I said covered in a blush "Oh it was hot so I took it off." I kept looking at his abs "Y/N, you ok? You look unwell.." he got out of his bed and put his hand on my forehead "Ah- y-yes I'm fine!" He shook his head "You're burning up, are you sure? As your friend it's my duty to make sure you're ok!" I couldn't answer as all I saw were his abs "I- uh ye- Armin- uhh" he looked concerned "Maybe I should take you to the infirmary..." I waved my hands in the air "No! No it's fine, im fine, we're all fine here!" He pulled me up and pulled me out of his room "Where are we going...?" He didn't answer

Time-skip to the infirmary
Armin dragged me to the infirmary where he put me on one of the beds "You keep lying, you're unwell clearly!" I couldn't fight back as I was still blushing considering he still has no shirt on "N-noo I'm fine-" she shook his head "lies! Just stay here for a bit." I frowned "can.. can you stay with me..?" I said twiddling my thumbs and looking at the floor "Sure.." he sat next to me "Hey Armi-" someone then burst through the door ruining me telling Armin I like him "Oh hello boys!" It was Hanji "You two better not had done anything in here!" I got confused until I realised what she meant an blushed "no no we didn't!" I yelled "Then why are you here?" Armin stood up "He's unwell but keeps denying it, he's burning up and looks red! Can you help him?" Hanji nodded, I looked at Armin not wanting him to leave, he unfortunately left the infirmary...

Armin POV
Him suddenly becoming unwell makes no sense.. unless it's something random for him I guess I'll never know the answer. The way he looked at me before I left is confusing me, like he didn't want me to leave "Oh Y/N I'll never understand you." I opened the door to my room and put on a shirt, "I'll guess I'll go and see him now. Even thought it's only been a few minutes." I started making my way back when I saw him speed walking toward me "Y/N!" He ran up to me "You already feel better?" He looked up to me "Y-yup." Honestly, that was cute.. "You hungry?" He nodded "Let's go get some food." We started walking to the dining room and Y/N seemed to be more shy around me then ever, I decided to test something, I slowed down a little so he wouldn't notice and I tapped his ass like it was an accident "Oh sorry!" I said and I saw him blush like crazy "Ah it's- it's fine!" I think... I think he likes me. I'm not going to try to make a move but I'll do subtle things to test to see if he does like me.

Time-skip to an expedition, Y/N POV
We're going on an expedition now but all that's on my mind is Armin touching my ass before... I was next to him on my horse "Ar-Armin?" I looked at him "Yeah?" "Can we talk when we get back?" He nodded, I looked at Commander Erwin and he looked angry, it made me wonder what the hell we are doing. My other friends Eren and Mikasa didn't look happy either "Armin, do you know what's going on with everyone?" He shrugged his shoulders and then Erwin screamed or yelled and we all set off on our horses out the walls and I saw huge trees far in the distance "they're huge if I can see them this far." (By the way I'm doing my own version of the female Titan chasing Eren down.) me, Armin, Mikasa and Reiner were all in a group and not even 15 minutes after starting I spot a skinless looking abnormal running at us "Uh guys look!" Armin looked first and took out a flare gun "Uhh.." he shot black smoke into the sky "Ohhh abnormal smoke." For some reason I put the fact an abnormal is running at us to the side like it doesn't matter "Lets keep riding to see what it does" Armin states "Uhh ok.." not even 10 seconds later the abnormal was right in front of us and it hit the ground so hard it sent us all flying off our horses I wanted to kill the Titan to look... cool in front of Armin so I pulled my swords out and activated my 3D MG grappling to the Titan "You're mine!" Before I got anywhere close the nape the titans hand flew down and hit me "AGH!" I hit the ground really hard and the last thing I saw before passing out was Armin running to me whilst Reiner and Jean fought the titan.

Ahhh this is my first story sorry if it sucks or got confusing anywhere. I hope you liked it and please tell me where I can improve and what to write for later parts like should I keep following the story or should I go off track from the story? Anyway bye 👋
