"Come on!"
Tara was yelling at me from her car. Courtney was in the back seat waving at me from the window.
"I'll be out in a minute!"
My bag. My bag. Where the heck did I put my stupid bag. If I were a bag where would I be. My room? I'll check
I ran up to my room. Oh man. I need to clean. No time for that.
I saw it yesterday next to my bed.
Dang I moved it.
Oh wait I found it! Now my phone. I'll call Tara and see if she saw it yesterday.
I dialed her number and I al- wait a second I'm holding my phone. Ugh I'm so slow.
I ran downstairs and grabbed a pair of boots and ran out the door. I almost jumped into Tara's car.
"What's wrong with you?" Courtney asked
"Like your such a pleasure in the morning."
Tara giggled secretly. We could both hear her though.
"Are we all buckled ladies!" Tara yelled.
"Ya I think so."
And we were off. Every other Saturday the 'Squad', as Courtney calls us, goes to the mall and we shop and hang out for a couple hours. Then we decide on whose house we stay at for the night. Usually I never buy anything but Tara "borrowed" one of my shirts and got grape jelly all over it and I need a new one.

We walked into MartinField Mall and took a seat at one of the tables in the food court.
"So where should we go first?" I asked. I'm usually the one that chooses either way though.
"Well we went to Forever 21 last week and they had nothing good." Courtney said.
"And we went through a bunch of other stores that I can't even remember the names of because they were so boring. Shazney what do you think?"
See I always pick.
"I don't know. Let's just walk around and see what we find I guess. Let's go somewhere we haven't ever gone before."
"Okay."
We walked towards the right instead of the left. The left has all of the more 'girly' stores and the right is more little kids and boring shoe stores.
My stomach started grumbling.
"Hey guys I'm really hungry. Let's get something to eat."
"Hey can we go to the new chicken place? I heard it's really good." Courtney said.
"Um I'm sorry have you met me. Tara the vegetarian. Your best friend since we were 7."
"They probably have salads or something there."
Tara grumbled. She hates when we go somewhere non-vegan. She says that she has her own religion. Tarian. You can't be non-vegan around her and anyone caught wearing something ugly should go to jail. She's crazy sometimes but she's one of my only true friends and she's fun to be around.
"Hottie at 12 o clock."
Courtney pointed to a guy at the chicken place. He was really cute. He has dark brown hair and an eyebrow piercing. He looked at me and I blushed.
"He so likes you."
Tara nudged me and I looked up again only to see his perfect eyes aligned with mine.
We walked up to the counter where he smiled and spoke with his low, raspy voice.
"Hello. Can I help you?"
No one else talked so I was forced to speak.
"Um ya. I'll have a number 3 with ranch and a small coke. You guys?
I turned around to look at them.
"Ya I'll have a number 6 with no sauce and no meat please."
Tara got her annoyed tone in her voice. She saw them cooking something with meat and she shivered.
"I'll just have chicken fingers with honey mustard. Thanks."
He looked back at me.
"Can I have a name for the order?"
Tara nudged my arm again and widened her eyes as a signal of 'say your name or I will say it for you'
"S-Shazney."
"Thanks."
He walked back into the kitchen and told the chef our orders. He came back a few minutes later with our food.
"Here. Anything else?"
"Um ya can we have straws please?" I said in my most awkward voice.
"Ya I'll be right back."
"Oh my god your going to be together. I can see it. You'll get married and have tw- wait three kids and grow up on a house on a beach. You'll be a rich fashion designer and he will be a rich chicken restaurant owner. And your kids will be-"
"Okay okay ms fortune teller. Man Courtney you sure do have a mouth."
