Long ago the God of Life created a ape like creature and called it a human. The creature slowly evolved, captivating the beings creator and the other gods who ruled the world. They especially captivated one of the gods.... the God Of Chaos......The destructive god was obsessed with the small humans. He loved them. This was the first time the god had ever really felt something inside his cold void of a chest. He loved them for filling that void he didn't know he had.
The longer the god spent with these creatures, the more he felt inside. They were a magical key to his hidden heart.
The God spent centuries watching, studying, guiding, and helping the humans. He'd makes villages and homes for them. Give them food and warmth in the cold winters. They worshipped him above the other gods. Even above their creator.
None of the other gods minded. They loved that the previously destructive god had turned good. Every god but one...
The hate filled god hated humans. He hated how they'd changed his friend. So he planned to ruin the small animals.
The vengeful god made a prophecy and set it in stone. No one could change the future fate of the humans.... no matter how hard they'd tried.
When the god of chaos learned of the fate of his people in his dreams he snapped. Filled with anxiety and wanting to protect his loved worshippers he picked his favorite town and hid it far away. Far from the fate they had been forced to bear. But nothing can stop fate.
3rd person:
A scared screech came from outside. Hastily the god walked out of my temporary hut in the village. The village...
Was up in flames?!
The God stumbled back. Small tears pricked his eyes as he took in his home.
Dream had never felt this, this pain in his chest. He wished he never would have to. He wished he never had.
Tears steamed down his cheeks as he ran through the rumble, searching, looking for his friends. His people. His family.
The distressed god yelled, his loud but shaky voice booming over the loud noise. He heard a quieter, but still loud, yell back. A small sparkle of hope shined through his pain.
He leaped forward and ran at a only godly pace to the sounds owner. His green cape flying behind him.
He ran past the blown up well in the middle.
Past the town hall turned to rubble.
Past the ash covered bakery.
Past...
The God stopped at the small house that was almost unrecognizable. Two stone walls were torn down. The other two quivering from the weight of the burning roof. Glass was littered from old windows that had shattered. A bright red torn fabric was burning inside.A sharp pain stabbed Dream's heart at the seared fabric inside. Knowing he couldn't really get hurt, the god rushed inside and grabbed the fabric, he blew the tiny flames eating at it as he rushed back out and ran even faster towards the yell.
The ashy hot but cold air burned his lungs as he sped closer to the edge of town. His heart stung as he saw the ruins of the houses he'd made for his people. Each bloody and burned corpse he saw stuck in his head. Small voices told him it was his fault, louder ones screamed that he'd done this himself. He was the god of chaos after all.....
Suddenly the cobblestone path under his feet was gone. He was in a bright but dark void. It shifted from bright colors to dark monotone greys. The longer he stayed in the shifting area the louder his worries became, till they were screeching in his head.
Why'd you kill them?
You burnt there home! Your home!
Monster!
They should've banished you earlier!
Your a heartless beast!
You just can't help people can you?
Wow killing your friends.
You hurt them.
You really are the god of chaos....The voices yelled his thoughts in different familiar voices. Some of his 'mum' and 'dad'.
Some of his friends. His 'brother'. All stabbing deep.Suddenly the screaming stopped. It was silent. Quiet. Unsettling.
In a blink the void changed to a snowy forest, lit up by the stars and tiny glowing bugs. The tall trees were adorned with bright red mushrooms that had big white spots. Stiff grass crunched underfoot.
It was pretty. And peaceful. The air was clean, not stuffy. The sky bright with stars, not flames. The trees tall and healthy, not burning and breaking apart. The god breathed in deeply. A tear went down his cheek... but if wasn't a sad one. It was a happy tear.
The god was just looking at the blurry stars above when a soft crunch came from behind him. But he didn't hear anything but the sweet chirps of the night bugs. He liked those bugs.
A soft voice whispered behind the god. Swiftly he transformed his body in case it was a mortal. Then he turned around to face the whisperer in the woods.
Dream stumbled back a little at the person. Startled.
It was a short boy with soft brown hair and pretty brown eyes.
Who is that?

That's all you guys get for a bit. I'm gonna start on the other part after publishing this. Hope you liked this. Also to explain the form shifting thing that Dream did:
So in Greek mythology a god has different forms. But there 'divine' form cannot be seen by mortals or they vaporize. That's it.
So Dream in my story has his true form, god form, and mortal form. The god one can be seen by mortals as well as his own mortal form. Can't wait to show you guys my design for DreamXD. I really like it. Welp that's all for now. I'll post later though. Byeeee
