She was standing teary eyed, watching 'just now wedded' couple who were smiling and laughing together. A smile too appeared on her face seeing them.

She remembered their old days, they were best friends from their 6th class and how everyone thought them in a relationship. They denied everytime from their school to their college. But when she realised, it was too late!
That one day changed everything!

#FLASHBACK#

She was taking baby steps towards the garden which held an unusual aura today for 'her'. She was going to confess her love to the only man she loved. Her childhood bestie 'Neil Khanna'!

The sky turned reddish spreading its hue all over the sky making it look serene. The wind was blowing holding the fragrance of those beautiful flowers, stating the start of spring, which made one go awestruck over the view.
She looked at him from far who was busy talking to someone over the phone. As soon as his gaze landed over her, he cut the call and looked at her with a wide smile over his face. They both looked at each other with a smile for a while and the other second he ran and took her in a bone crushing hug, twirling her around while she giggled.

"Avni! Avni! Avni! I'm so so happy today. I wanted to share this news with you but you were in Mexico." He exclaimed still twirling her.

"But first put me down. Even I want to confess something Neil." She said as he finally put her down.

"Then first you, ladies first!" He smiled.

"No, first you. You had only called me here so you should." She replied and smiled widely. There was silence for a while or so.

"I'm engaged!" He said showing his finger which held the ring. As the words skipped his mouth, she gasped and looked at his finger. Her whole body loosened and she stood still.

"Wh...what?" Her voice choked and her eyes started getting glassy.

"You know once I had told you about Anisha? She's the one!" He smiled while she just looked at him. Her mind stopped working. Their memories which they had created together, everything started fashing suddenly in front of her.

"Avni!" He shaked her by her shoulders.

"Huh?"

"I'm calling you from past 5 minutes. What happened? Aren't you happy?" He looked tensed seeing her motionless.

"Ni..noth.. nothing. I'm always happy in your happiness but I need to go." She said and turned to go, still in a hope that he would stop her and claim this news fake.

"Avni!" As called her out again, she smiled and turned her head swiftly to look at him.

"You'll have to attend my wedding. I won't listen to any excuse." He said smilingly and walked away. She just stood there. Finally, those tears which she was controlling falled down her cheeks like a cascade.
Those sparkling eyes were now left with tears!
And those smiling lips now just suppressed the cries!

She fell down on her knees with a thud and cried for hours there until those tears betrayed her.

Wiping her tears, she came forward to wish the couple holding the gift in her hand.

"Congratulations both of you! I wish for your beautiful journey ahead!" She smiled.

"Ab tune kaha hai toh zarur beautiful hi hogi, bilkul teri tarah." He said playfully and winked at her.

"Shut up Neil Khanna! You are married now! Grow up!" She remarked. And then their banters started again! While Anisha looked at them with a confused smile over her face. They both looked at her and laughed seeing her face.
