Chapter 2 Meeting The Team

I was hanging out with Rachel after school. We were talking about my place as a hero. I'm her sidekick the vigilante known as Virtuoso.

Alex: So you're telling me you want me to lead a team of other teenagers while I'm still your sidekick?

Rachel: Yeah. When I was your age I lead a group of young heroes named the Teen Titans and now so are you.

Alex: Wait what don't I get a say in this? You already made me leader!?

Rachel: Heh yeah sorry but I want you to do this. It'll make you a better hero and not to mention a team player for when you join the Justice League. Besides you already know one of the team members.

Alex: Who?

Rachel: Jaylene's on the team.

Alex: What? Oh no.

Rachel: What aren't you 2 really good friends?

Alex: Rach I'm in love with her. I'm not gonna be able to concentrate.

Rachel: Yes you will. If I could do it you can do it.

Alex: Yeah but, you were trained by Batman and he kinda ah never mind I'm just saying I'm not you. But if you believe in me I'll do it.

Rachel: Aw this is why you're my favorite sidekick.

Alex: I'm you're only sidekick.

Rachel: Exactly. Anyway ugh I'm gonna miss you while you're gone. When we get back to base Ugh I have a parting gift for you, 2 actually.

Alex: It's not like I'm never come back but I'll miss you too.

We continue on our way to the base, we got some lunch and stopped a bunch of times just to spend more time together. We've been partners for the last 2 years and got really close. Eventually, we got to the base and suited up.

Rachel: Ok now it's time for the departing gifts. First let's get the main gift come here.

I walk towards her.

Alex: Alrig-mmph

She just started making out with me, don't get me wrong I almost immediately melted into it I was just surprised. We proceeded to make out our tongues fighting for dominance, my tongue came out victorious and I explored my new territory. After a little bit Rachel pulled away.

Rachel: I could've kept going but if we did I'd want to do more than just make out.

Alex: That's fair enough, to be honest if you didn't stop when you did I would've started to grope you.

She started to blush and so did I.

Rachel: Alex I know you said earlier you're in love with Jaylene but, I love you.

Alex: I love you too. Honestly the last 2 years I've been falling for you. I mean look at you, you're beautiful, thiccc, and you're a great person. It just sucks that there's a 4 year age gap. We can't legally be with each other.

Rachel: Wait that's it. We're breaking the law anyway Vigilanteism is a crime. Why not break another law?

Alex: Well I mean I am consenting to it and you are my legal guardian..... technically. Why not it could work.

Rachel: You know what screw it I'll move into the tower with you guys. Here's you're second well it's no longer a departing gift so this'll just be a gift of our newly found romance.

She tosses me the keys to presumably a vehicle.

Rachel: Come on don't wanna keep the team waiting do we?
