A friend
Where is she?
I can't find her.
I've lost her,
Or,
Has she lost me?
I miss you.
I hate writing these poems
That talk only of you.
You're missed.
I'm scared.
Help me find her,
Please, someone.
Why do I care for you,
So,
So much?
Why are you the only one
That I care this much about.
I thought we'd be friends forever.
I thought we were one of those.
I can't count the number,
The number of poems
That are only for you.
My heart hurts.
I feel so lonely.
I'm scared.
And I'm angry.
Angry?
Is that the right word?
I don't care anymore.
I've never hated a friend,
A friend as much as you.
But I still love you.
I hate you and love you?
First time for everything.
So many poems of you,
They could make a book.
Would that be appropriate?
Honestly, I just might...
Title?
I guess
"A Friend
That's Nowhere To Be Found."
Get it?
Cause you haven't texted back
In way over a year.
Get it?
Cause you're lost.
Or, am I the one that's lost.
I hate how these feelings
Recycle to no end.
How do I let this go?
The pain.
The tears.
The fear.
You.
You're that friend.
That's no where to be found.
