CHAPTER 1

Samantha's POV

        Meow.

Awwww! It's a kitty cat. The cat was standing in front of my bedroom door as I was busy trying to finish my homework. It was already midnight and my eyes were droopy. All I wanted to do was sleep... But then again there's a cat that's rubbing his face against my door frame, so I'm probably sleeping right now anyways.

Strange things have been happenning in my house lately. Bells ringing at midnight, creaking floors when everyone but me are asleep. The moon bright as ever for the past few months, shining through my windows, and when I look out, all I see is pitch dark.

I let out a long yawn as I stared at the cat with a pencil between my fingers. The cat was remarkably unusual... It was dark blue with faint red and aqua blue lines streaking its tail and legs. The cat's eye was ice blue.

        Meow.

It's so adorable though. The cat's eyes were unusually larger than a normal on and it's whiskers was very long to the size where it almost touches the floor. It's now licking its paw as it continues staring at me. This is actually the weirdest dream I've ever gotten. I have never dreamed about watching a cat doing cat things.

I let out another long yawn as I looked at my alarm clock.

Ugh. 1:00 am now. I have school tomorrow... Wait! I'm in a dream.

        I face-palmed myself.

I looked at the cat and saw that it tilted its head as it looked at me curiously.

"What cat? Never saw someone face-palm themselves?" I asked the cat even though I knew it won't answer me or so I thought, because then right after I asked the question, the cat replied with a 'yes'.

I widened my eyes. Did- Did the cat just talk? No it couldn't have! The cat didn't just talk!

I face-palmed myself again. IDIOT! You're in a dream. Stop thinking like it's real life... I'm aware of dreaming... Maybe I can lucid dream now!

I squeezed my eyes shut and started thinking really hard for an awesome adventure. I opened it again and I still saw the cat. I let out a disappointed sigh.

"You're a very interesting human being..." The cat commented with a feline grin.

        It talked again...

"Is this a dream or something because I'm pretty sure this isn't going to ever happen in real life..."

"Don't worry about it," the cat purred, "Just follow me." The cat flicked his tail and turned around out my room. Just in case... I grabbed my Harry Potter Robes and wand. What? What if I bumped into some idiot who was trying to kill me? I could just start pretending I'm a real wizard. Ha ha. What that idiot's reaction would be though.

I then ran toward the direction the cat went. Ahh... There he was. He was standing in front of a wooden, square-ish door in front of the bathroom downstait's door... I never saw it in my house. What is this? I never recalled seeing this in the first place in any way.

" Where are you taking me?" I asked cautiously. The cat didn't reply and nudged the door opened. Bright light blinded me for a few seconds leaving black spots behind in my vision. I blinked a few times and found myself a field full of strange flowers. Each one was an orb on a stem with the reflection of some sort of element... I guess inside it.
