#3- Memory

- Flashback -

    Tweek knew he was a visionary ever since he was small. The first time he had a vision about his soulmate was when he was 11 years old . He was wrapped up in his blankets, with a sleeping Kenny on the floor . Butters couldn't make it to their sleepover sadly , but the two boys called him all throughout the night keeping him company .

Tweek stared at the sky hoping to drift off to sleep by counting the bright stars . That was, until his band started to glow a fierce blue color, the longer he stared at it the brighter it got . He closed his eyes in fear and that's when he got it .

The person seemed to be talking in his vision . They were on a rooftop, admiring the stars just as Tweek was doing before . The stranger got up and extended their hand , offering it to Tweek.

Future Tweek took the hand and was greeted with the color blue . He opened his eyes again as the light began to calm down . Kenny woke up due to the brightness and was staring at Tweek in awe .

" TWEEK ! THAT WAS SO AWESOME ! " Kenny whispered enthusiastically. He got up from the floor and sat on the bed . Tweek was still frozen, looking down at his once vibrant colored hand . Kenny started rambling about how cool he looked when he noticed Tweeks eyes started watering .

When a singular tear fell down Tweek's cheek that's when Kenny shut up . " Tweek, are you alright ? " Gently taking Tweeks hands in his own, Kenny started to comfort him . The boy didn't respond, more and more tears started falling and Tweek started to lightly shake .

Kenny decided not to push it and wrapped his arms around Tweek. He immediately hugged back, burying his head in the crook of Kenny's neck . He stroked the blonde boys hair, untangling the knots as Tweek cried in his shoulder . They stayed like that for a while, the sound of sniffles being the only noise in the room.

Kenny gently moved Tweek away from him, staring into his eyes . " Tweek, whats wrong ? " Tweek averted his gaze, and staring at the floor. " Do you... wanna talk about it ? " he asked hesitantly. Tweek nodded his head, meeting  Kennys's purple eyes once again . " I dont... I don't want my soulmate ! I-Its too much pressure ! I don't want to be forced to love a stranger.. "

" A-and they follow you around everywhere ! You never get space, and and they're always around, and they could be a murderer or something and you wouldn't know ! GAH "

Kenny squeezed Tweek's hands, not hard enough to hurt him, but as a sign of comfort. " Hnnn what if they don't like me ?? What if they call me a freak ?! What if they hate me ?! They're never gonna love me, they're never gonna love someone.. like me. What if they're a dude ! I'm not gay ! What would I even do then ?! "

Tweek's breath quickened, placing one hand on his chest to try and call himself down. " One. Two Three. " He glanced up at Kenny, realizing what he was doing . He fixed his breathing while mumbling the numbers under his breath.

" It's okay Tweek, you still have a long way until you'll need to think about love ! Middle school relationships only last a week and we're still in the 6th grade ! And if they don't love you then they're crazy ! Who WOULDN'T love a cutie like you "

Tweek puffed his cheeks out and turned the other way at Kenny's attempt at flirting. "Aweee is my little Tweeky blushing ? I can hardly see your freckles now " he pouted

Tweeks face is now buried with his hands, feeling the warmth of his now burning face. Kenny poked Tweek's head repeatedly, trying to get the other boy even more embarrassed.

After a couple seconds Tweek pushed him off the bed playfully and the two started giggling to themselves . Once their laughter died down, they were met with a peaceful silence.

" Ken ? " he asked softly . Kenny hummed in response, still laying on the floor .
" Thank you for being there for me . You and Butters both . I love you guys "

Those three words that came out of Tweeks mouth was a one time thing and Kenny knew that. He stared at the freckled boy, seeing how the moonlight hit his face softly, and how his eyes sparkled underneath them, and how he-

He shook his head clearing his thoughts. " Love you too Tweek . We'll always be here for you, m'kay ? "

Tweek chuckled " M'kay Ken "
He set his head on his pillow once again and was finally able to sleep . However, know Kenny was the one with the sleeping problem.

His face was flushed, hands on both of his cheeks. He looked over at Tweek who was now sleeping peacefully. His heart rate quickened and his face became a darker shade .

He ruffled his own hair with his hand.

Oh shit.. Im in love Tweek .

Present Time :

Kenny sat at his friend's table, listening to whatever nonsense it was today. The usual Kyle and Cartman bickering, and Stan talking about Wendy. He still couldn't understand why Stan was STILL hung up over Wendy when Stan's soulmate is so obviously Kyle.
There were also rumors about Bebe being Wendy's soulmate, which could be true, but should still be taken with a grain of salt becuase you know, its highschool rumours are everywhere.

Kenny talked to Butters, as his table wasn't so far from where he was sitting. He looked at the table and saw who he was sitting with .

Tweek , Token , Clyde , and.... Tucker ? What's Tweek sitting with Tucker for ? Wasn't he scared of him ?

Butters turned back around when Clyde began talking to him, leaving Kenny to gaze at the table once again. He saw Tweek and Craig, in some sort of trance. They were staring at each other yet none of them would say a word. And that's when he saw it.

Craig's eyes went from pale gray to olive green in a matter of seconds. Though it only lasted for a short while, Kenny was sure what he saw. He's seen this before, with Kyle. When his eyes would sometimes flash emerald green when spotting Stan from a distance. It meant...

oh.

The boy he was in love with.. had finally found his soulmate. And it was someone that wasnt Kenny..
