Birds started chirping here and there, giving Anica a sign that it was already seven in the morning. The princess still laid in bed, too lazy to get up, and after a few minutes, she soon heard banging noises on her door. Anica groaned in annoyance and got up from the bed and walked towards the door. She stretched her arms and opened the door, finding her older sister glaring at her with crossed arms. "Anica! Why are you still in your nightgown?! You're supposed to be dressed up now!" Yelled her sister in anger. Anica just stared at her sister with half opened eyes, yawning time to time, ignoring everything her sister was saying. Soon, her sister realized she wasn't really listening and slapped her on the face, but Anica was still sleepy, so she just waved her hand and closed the door and walked back to her bed. "Good night sis!" She said and then went back to sleep. Her sister screamed and kept yelling but nothing happened since Anica had fallen asleep again.
An hour later
Anica closed the door of her room, dressed in a simple shoulder less lavender dress with flower designs on the skirt. Anica skipped around the large castle and went downstairs and found her mother reading a small book. Anica greeted her mom and sat down on the table and started eating her breakfast. Her mother slammed the book close and laid it on the table while looking at Anica with a frown. Anica looked at her and swallowed her food, "What?" She asked. Anica's mother crossed her arms and raised a brow, "What do you mean, 'What'? You were supposed to wake up at 7 am! Why did you only get up now?!" She said. Anica shrugged and put the fork she was holding down, "Sigh, sorry, I just wanted to sleep longer, I literally slept at 11 in the evening yesterday because I finished their-"
"Don't use your sisters as an excuse, get up earlier, do you understand?!" Said the mom in an angry tone. Anica sighed and nodded, and started eating again.Few minutes later
"Hmm, should I go to this forest today? Or here?" Said Anica to herself while pointing to different two forests in the map she had in her room. "This one looks better to explore." She added, and soon rushed in her dressing room and immediately changed her clothes to more comfortable ones, but when she went outside her room, she met up with her dad, who stopped her and sent her back to her room. Anica crossed her arms and starting pouting in annoyance. "What am I exactly? A princess or a prisoner?" She whispered to herself as she lied on her bed and closed her eyes. "Oh wait!" She exclaimed excitedly, "Heh, my dad forgot i can climb down the castle walls, I should just climb down like what I did when I was younger. I'm sure i can get out of here in no time." Anica jumped out the bed and rushed towards the window and opened it. She climbed out and looked down, where she saw how high she was from the ground, but either way, she didn't really care and just continued climbing down. After at least 10 minutes, she managed to successfully escape the castle, and ran to the forest she was about to explore earlier.
"Don't let her get out understand Allie?" Said the mother to one of Anica's sisters. "Oh yes of course, mother, I will do my best." Answered Allie proudly, then she headed to Anica's room. "Tch, this little brat will finally feel my wrath for almost making me lose my voice earlier!" Said Allie to herself, but as soon as she opened the door, she found herself staring at an empty, messy room with an open window. "KYAAAA!!!! DAD!!!" Screamed Allie, "ANICA IS GONE AGAIN!!"
"Ooooh, this flower looks so pretty, lemme sketch it." Said Anica to herself while pulling a brush and paper from her sling bag and started drawing the flower. "There you go! Finished. Bye bye little flower." Said Anica, and set off again, drawing the nature life in the forest from time to time. Anica played with some of the animals there as well, and rested on the nearby cliffs. There were many rivers that had crystal clear waters, so you could see the bottom of the rivers filled with pebbles, large stones and some fish. There were two beautiful lakes that were surrounded by different kinds of plants. There were some deep ravines as well, and a lot of wild life. "Wow, this forest is very beautiful, it's also in a mountain which makes it very enjoying to explore because the fresh breeze of the wind feels so cool, it takes away all the tiredness. This exploration was worth escaping the castle," said Anica as she was fixing her things, "even if I know I'm gonna get scolded later as well." She added as she chuckled. Anica soon started going back home, where she met up with some soldiers in their castle, "Ok, now that I think about it," she thought, "I don't think I wanna go back home yet." Anica turned and ran off and the soldiers chased her in the forest. It took pretty long before the soldiers reached her and took her back to the castle. Anica's family were sitting down on the table, and when she arrived, as she expected, she was scolded by her parents and her sisters made fun of her. Although she was annoyed by her siblings, she just ignored them and went back to her room and hung the drawings she sketched earlier and changed her clothes. When the clock struck 6, Anica went back downstairs to eat dinner.
"So Anica, how's life as a 'runaway' princess huh?" Said Allie as she laughed. "I bet it sucks, imagine getting mud and dirt on your dress, ugh, that's disgusting." Said Annette, one of Anica's sisters, then she and the other girls laughed and mocked Anica, who just kept eating, trying her best to ignore her siblings. As soon as she finished her meal, Anica immediately left the table and went straight back her room and took a quick shower and lied on her bed. "I bet I should just be myself again and leave my outgoing ego behind. I just always get bullied by my siblings." Said Anica to herself as she sighed and closed her eyes to sleep.
