Feather (Hawks x reader)

Chapter 5

Hell no. Im not letting this happen. 

I heard Y/N get out of the shower, and I waited for her in the living room. 

"Hey Y/N? I think its best that you stay at my house for the week." I said, trying to keep my joking attitude up. 

"Huh? why?" She replied.

"Uhm.. So that you dont get a panic attack without anyone there to help you!" I shot back warily. 

"Keigo, i'm not that sensitive. Im pretty sure I can handle myself." She said, giving me a weird look.

"Pleaseee? I'll pay for all the food!" I whined

"Jeez, fine. But I get to pick what we eat." She said with a smirk shooting up on her face.

At least I got her to stay. I deleted the texts from Dabi on her phone too. Im gonna make sure she's okay. 

"Oh! by the way, I took 2 days off work." I said

 "No way Diane allowed that. She doesn't even let you get an hour off!" She laughed.

"Who said Diane even knew in the first place?" I cooed 

She laughed and joined me on the couch. "How about some Disney movies today?" She asked before I replied with a yes. We spent the next couple of hours watching all the Disney movies we could find. We already had lunch and now we were sitting in a blanket fort as the movie "Alice in wonderland" finished. "Alright, I think that's enough for now y/n" I said as I turned my head to her. She was curled up on the other side of the blanket fort in a pile of pillows sleeping. I checked my phone for the time. "4:00" it read. "We sure spent a lot of time.." I let out a small laugh and got up. I tried to move as little as possible and went to get a blanket to cover her with a blanket. I made my way to the tiny make shift office space to get some research on the Nomu outbreak done when I got a call from Diane Himura.

A sigh escaped my lips and I answer my phone.

"Hey Diane!" I said in a cheery attitude

"Don't 'Hey diane' me. Where are you!? You're supposed to be here. Just because your number 2 hero doesn't mean you can slack off now." 

"I know, I know! I'll work the night patrol for a few days after a week or two. Something came up." 

"I don't care about what you're gonna do later, this is your  responsibility. What came up is non of my concern. Your gonna come to the hero agency in the next 2 hours or you're position as a hero is going to be compromised. I did so much for you, I expect better." She threatened

"Are you sure there's not even the tiniest possibility for me to miss a couple days?" I asked

"Hawks. 2 hours. No exceptions."

"...fine"

"I need to get going now, take care of whatever you need to in the time limit." 

"Okay. Bye!" I cheered

And then she ended the call.

Another sigh escaped my lips as I made my way to the living room. You began to wake up and I sat down beside her. She yawned and stretched.

"Keigo? What time is it?" 

"Around 4:15, you've been sleeping for 3 hours birdy" I said with a chuckle

"Meh.. it was worth it." She replied

"Well- I'm sorry our time has to come to end, the hero agency called and I have to head there soon." I groaned

"See? It's your job, your saving Japan from the villains! It's not bad that you get to fight crimes Keigo!" She said cheerily 

"Maybe not for Musutafu, but it's a pain in the ass for me."

"Everything's a pain in the ass. That's a small sacrifice for your face on the covers of magazines and tv shows!"

"I guess so. Are you sure you'll be fine on your own?" 

"Ofcourse!"

"Okay then, I'll get ready."

So I went to the bathroom and got ready. About 20 minutes later I was in my hero costume and walking out the door. "Bye birdy!" I called out. "Bye!" She replied. 

I reached the hero agency to be met by an angry Diane. "There you are. Your patrol should start now. Go work." She said. So I did. I was patrolling for 3 hours stopping pickpockets and robberies, but I could only think of y/n. 

I tried to call her to let her know I'll be back late, but it went to voicemail each time. I stated getting a bit worried.

"Don't stress it! She's a hero, she can deal with any problem herself!" I kept repeating in my head.

For anyone, it would be Normal for a call to go to voicemail multiple times. But it wasn't for you, especially not a call from hawks. 

Y/N's POV

I was about to go to the office to play Genshin impact on keigo's pc, but when I looked out of the window all thoughts of that disappeared. 

There he was. The raven haired man who broke my heart not even a month ago.

I wasn't sad when I saw his face. No. I was only mad.

He knew I saw him. I bet he thought I was going to ignore him, but that was not what happened. 

I walked up to the window and opened it, telling him in a foul tone to get to the front door.

Once he did, I opened that ready to blow up on him. 

"What are you doing here" I shot

"Well you weren't going to come home, so I needed to track you down. Funny seeing you at my best friend's house." He replied

"For you information, he's my best friend too."

He sighed. "Look, can we just talk things out?"

"Talk things out?! Sure, let's talk about how you let another woman in your house and made out with her while you have a girlfriend."

"I know what I did. Can we just get back together? It didn't go any further than a stupid kiss anyways."

"A STUPID KISS?! So you were playing with her heart too. I can't believe y-"

That's when my phone started ringing. Multiple times. The ringtone was one hawks set for himself on my phone, that rang "Hey birdy! You should pick up this call! I'm waiting~!"

I was about to slam the door in touya's face and go pick it up, but Dabi held my wrist. 

"I'm your boyfriend. You can ignore that bird brain for me." 

"You, my boyfriend? You are no more than an ex."

This argument went on for just 15 minutes, but it felt like an eternity. I was just about to reply to a comment from Dabi, when I saw the crimson winged man standing behind him with a look on his face which held nothing but disgust to Dabi.
