We all headed back to the dance studio , the girls decided to come along

"Hi , um mindless behavior , I didn't know y'all was coming back"the lady said

"We need to speak with aurbrey "

"Oh ...she's over there"

Her back was turned to us and her head was down

"Aurbrey"

She didn't respond

"Aurbrey "chres said

"Yes" she said not looking at us

"Can we talk to you"

You shrugged

"What's wrong or you ok"chres said

She shook her head

"Can you look at me "

It took her a minute , then she finally looked up. Her face was was bruised , she had a big purple and green mark on the side of her eye.

"Who did this to you"

"Can we talk somewhere else "she asked

"Yeah sure "

We left the studio and sat at this ice cream place a block away, the girls came along as well.

"Aurbrey baby girl what happened" chres said

She put her head down on the table and said it

"He hit my mommy and me "

"Who "chres said getting mad

"My daddy "

"Look aurbrey , we gotta tell you some stuff that might be hard to take in ok" I said

She just looked at me

"I'm your uncle and angel here is you aunt , chres is your daddy...August is your your um...blood daddy but chres is you daddy he took care of you when you was a baby he love you and your mom so much , but then one day she left with you without telling us anything"

"Yeah"april said

"That's not true" tears escaped her eyes
