Ch.2 Arrangement

On her way back to the castle Imuna was so nervous thinking about what her parents were going to say to her but all that was on her mind was Axel. But those thoughts went away as soon as carriage pulled into the castle driveway her stomach felt like it was being twisted into a knot. So she took a deep breath and walked in, but surprisingly there was no one in the entrance no servants no guards where was everyone. Imuna thought nothing of it and returned to her room and when she walked in she saw her parents sitting on her bed all she was thinking was !Oh No!. "Mom Dad hows it going you having a good night" "Oh Imuna don't play coy" said King Philip "Why did you go to that oat boys house when we told you you couldn't go over there anymore" said Queen Iduna "He has a name and I went over there because at annoying" said Imuna "Look it doesn't matter what his name is you weren't supposed to leave the castle because you were already grounded for going over there last week" "MOM" "Don't mom me you got yourself into this" "Yes so with that being said you are grounded again" said King Philip "But" "But nothing this is unacceptable behavior from the future queen you have to be more aware of your actions" said Queen Iduna "Philip can you bring Royal Advisor Harris in here please" said Queen Iduna and as King Philip is paging Royal Advisor Harris to the room Imuna is so worried about if she will ever see Axel again "Yes your grace you paged me" "Yes could you bring the triplets here I'm not sure where they are maybe in the playroom" said Queen Iduna "Right away your majesty" Said Royal Advisor Harris and a couple minutes after he left the triplets Grier, Paisley, and Isley have appeared walking into the room. "Did you page us mother" said Grier "Yes I just wanted to let you three know that Imuna is on punishment and we don't won't you in here ok" "Ok mom no problem" said Paisley " Thank you girls now go get in bed and we will be in there to tuck you in ok" said Queen Iduna "Alright Goodnight"said Grier, Paisley, and Isley "Goodnight girls now back to you" said King Philip "Alright I just want to know how did you even meet this boy" questioned King Philip "We met at the castle when he was delivering oats and we stayed in touch ever since" said Imuna "Imuna we love you but can't keep going to Axels house or in the village at all hours of the night" said Queen Iduna "But why" "The answer is quite simple you are royalty, daughter of the king and queen of Moonbright Hollow" "What does that mean exactly" "Imuna it means that you have a huge target on your back and you cannot and will not go into the village without guards anymore"said Queen Iduna "You guys are really overacting" said Imuna "You should be lucky that we are not as mad as we could be" said King Philip "We will talk more about this tomorrow ok but we are not trying to be mean we just love you goodnight" "I know you guys are trying love you too" "Oh you're still grounded" said Queen Iduna. Imuna was so sad not because she was grounded but because she couldn't see Axel anymore the news broke her heart but she couldn't show her pain because she doesn't want to entertain it. Meanwhile morning time struck 7:30 am to be exact and the king and queen are up to start the day. "Honey do you think that we were to harsh about her punishment last night" said Queen Iduna "Not at all she decided to go to that boys house when we told her she couldn't go over there anymore it's her fault not ours" said King Philip "Well I do feel a little bad" "Well you shouldn't she brought it on herself" said King Philip "Your right I'll go get the girls ready for breakfast" said Queen Iduna "Ok I'm going to go to the throne room to handle the business for today" said King Philip "Alright dear don't overwork yourself" "I won't and I love you now I really have to go" "Alright" As King Philip goes into the throne room to handle today's royal business Queen Iduna heads into the girls rooms and gets them ready for the day. "Girls get up time for breakfast" "Ugh mom five more minutes" "Nope you three have music lessons today" "Um mom you never told us what instrument we were playing" said Grier "Right of course Paisley you have piano, Grier you have harp and Isley you have violin lessons today." "Ok great now I know what outfit to wear" " Alright I want you girls dressed and downstairs or breakfast alright" "Ok mom do we have school today just checking" questioned Grier "No dear it's almost your sisters coronation" said Queen Iduna "Alright cool" As Queen Iduna walks up the hall to Imuna's room she  sits down on the nearest bench and thinks about everything. She put that on hold and walked in "Imuna get up time for breakfast" "Do I really have to get up" "Yes now up" "But what's the point I can't do anything fun" "Well if you had listened and not left the castle you wouldn't be in this situation now would you?" "But mom" "No excuses I want you dressed and downstairs for breakfast then off to your flute lessons." "Ok fine I'm up" "do I really have to be around these annoying people" mumbled Imuna "Mumbling isn't ladylike dear bathroom go now" "ugh" Now as Queen Iduna heads downstairs for breakfast herself King Philip has greater issues than Imuna's attitude. "Arthur what is this in my hand" "Well your majesty that is the philosophical Transaction from Maldovia" said Royal Adviser Arthur  "That means what exactly" "That means that the king and queen of Maldovia want to start an alliance between both countries with Imuna and their son prince Avel" "I really don't think that'll work with Imuna" "May I ask why sire" "She's so strung up on this boy Axel from the village so I doubt she would want to have anything to go do with this arrangement"said King Philip "Well your majesty they're coming into town for her 14th birthday" "Before we discuss any farther I have to sit down and speak with the queen and see if this something we should consider for Imuna" said King Philip "But of course sire" There was so much on the kings plate right now and he doesn't want to tell Imuna because it would break her heart. And he has to tell Queen Iduna right away because the Maldovians are visiting Moonbright Hollow in 3 days time . If Imuna finds out she will do anything and everything in her power to sabotage this opportunity. So trying to put on a straight face for the kids King Philip walks down for breakfast. Queen Iduna And the triplets follow. Everyone waited at the table patiently while Imuna descended the staircase when she finally gets down there is a tension so thick it's hard to breathe. But thankfully Paisley breaks the silence and starts to talk about her lessons today. And after breakfast Paisley, Isley, Grier and Imuna went to their music lessons. And as soon as they girls left the room King Philip pulls Queen Iduna aside and told her about King Toroy, Queen Adela and Prince Avel coming to Moonbright Hollow from Maldovia. "This is great dear Imuna can finally have some royal friends other than Amira and Amber" said Queen Iduna "Well honey they are coming for Imunas hand in marriage" said King Philip "Darling what are we going to do she's not over Axel and she won't be for a little while" said Queen Iduna "I don't know what we're going to do but we gotta figure it out fast" said King Philip.
