So I guess it should be a good time to introduce another OC. Was hoping to go in order of how I drew OCs, but I had a perfect story finished out for her so here you are meeting Kayla.
At a young age, many country kid trolls found it odd a bright hair country troll roaming around (thought she looked like an orange). Kayla was proud of her unique hair (like her mom and aunt), but then she felt it was something to be ashamed about. Eventually, she met boy country troll who thought it looked cool on how her orange and purple hair mixed, he was an artistic type. Kay and the boy troll became close friends then and as they grew they soon saw themselves as a couple.
They had been dating for a long while that it was close to their anniversary date. Kay had a special date idea planned out and had hoped to meet up with him. But when she saw him, he was with another girl country troll. Sadly, what you are reading is true; turns out he was trouper, someone who plays around with women. Furthermore, this truly has broke Kay's heart. And when her family found her, they saw she had turned gray, almost loosing all hope in herself, and her heart.
It had been so many months since her family even saw her smile. So her aunt Mamba had an idea. She asked Kay to stay with her for a time and help out at her tavern called the Gathe-Ring. Staying with her aunt, being able to perform a few nights, and even acquiring a new pet friend, and young adorabull she named Jambaloo, Kayla soon regained her colors again. She eventually returns home and is well again, though some things have changed in her.
Like Youthful, she too had acquired some powers from the country string as a baby, and could too have the ability of glowing orange hair when she feels love. However, thanks to her heartbreak, this ability had been broken but kind of reconstructed. When she regained her colors, her hair can still glow, but Kay gained more of a willpower to keep her hair glow under control, making herself mute you may say, same for her newfound power. Kay knows how to play guitar so when she plays, all who hear it will speak their hearts truth when asked a question. And this only happens when she would want to feel the music (you know therapeutic), and done on a guitar that her ex-boyfriend gave her. She could get rid of it, but she knows the love of music comes from her not her former lover. Though she is well, Kay one day hopes to feel appreciated for who she is and is loved once again.
Hope you all like her. And as a bonus, I even have another drawing of her. It was inspired when I was requested to draw an OC and I thought these two would make a good duet partners.
